“Busy lunchtime Sunday - noonish. Only four waitresses that should have been plenty, but no bus boy. The four waitresses were doing everything- including greeting customers, waiting on tables, bussing tables, etc., and taking payment. They should be commended for great hospitality under pressure.
Chile relleno with chicken covered with too much white cheese. The dish was not that tasty - the ingredients didn’t seem so fresh. Maybe they were frozen or canned.
My husband had a big breakfast - 3 eggs, bacon, ham, frijoles - he enjoyed it a lot.
Food is pricey.
We won’t be back.“

“We will go across town for RC Chicken Fingers for my grandson 😋 He always gets the Box Combo. I try to take him 1-2 times a week. The staff is always so friendly and always smiling. 😃 ASTRO always goes with us too. There was a goody bag waiting for him today.“

“It feels like family when we're there. Never disappointed. Food is awesome; the ladies and Jerry and Elias are super. The owner Willie is present and I love that he goes around greeting everyone. They are always so friendly and kind to all and they have a positive attitude which makes the atmosphere there welcoming. We tell all our friends about this place.

“I really like the food here. The chicken fried steak is better than all the other nearby places. Their parmesian chicken is also really good. The staff is always really good as well. Almost forgot, the chocolate stampede is a great dessert too.“

“I have loved the Chicken Potpie since coming to Cheddars to eat. I've had at least 6 of them and then the one I had last summer had no chicken in it. I said nothing to anyone, just deciding to not come back for a while. We stopped there with two other couples today and I thought...try it again. Before they used to have lots of white chicken chunks, this one today had very few pieces of chicken. What has happened to it?“

This charming spot in Harlingen, Texas, is truly a hidden gem. The cozy dine-in atmosphere paired with its beautiful antique vibe makes it feel like a step back in time. I had the jalapeño wrap with a side of pasta salad—both were perfectly portioned and full of flavor. The minestrone soup was especially comforting and delicious. “I highly recommend this place to eat. The brisket is so flavorful and fresh. We order the botana for 2, it could feed 3-4. We had nothing to take in a to go box! The drinks are also good and they have AWESOME sweet tea. I wish I found this place sooner.“

“The tacos and tortillas were amazing! Called in for curbside they were quick and the beans were so delicious! Was not impressed with the salsa 😕 other than that they also sell glass cokes so super good! Not to forget the papa was a little hard but the toppings with it were perff!!“

“The homemade chips can be a little hard to eat but their salsa is TO DIE FOR! I've loved their salsa for years! The beef fajitas are so tender and tasty. My husband gets the roasted half chicken and loves it. The service is great too. We go 1 or 2 times a week.“

“Our family of 14 just went in and all of our food was great and delicious. The kids could play connect 4, foosball and giant jenga while we waited for our food. We'll be back whenever we visit for Market Days. Thank you for the great service! We were all happy with our food and experience.“

“This is a great place to stop by if you're in downtown Harlingen. The burgers were excellent, made with fresh meat, not frozen. We came with a big group, and everything was really good—even the kids' pizzas and chicken tenders were made with real chicken. We will definitely be coming back! “My first and last visit to this restaurant. Tacos were too small and expensive. Tortilla was soggy and undercooked, the eggs were also a little raw with no flavor and the salsa was just tomato sauce. Never eat here again. Stripes tacos are bigger, less expensive and better flavor“
