“My wife and I spend every January in South Texas and Milanos is a must stop for us each year! My favorite is the spaghetti and meatballs with a side of Italian sausage. My wife loves the same but without the sausage. The bread is wonderful with the olive oil dip. Over the years I have tried almost everything on the menu and all are top notch. We love the red wine too which tops off the great meal See you in January 2027!“

“This place is fabulous - authentic food with exceptional service. White table cloth in the dining room or less formal in the bar area. That said - the dining room is relaxed and great for anyone. The food is authentic and prices are very reasonable considering the experience and quality. If you go there, you will go there again.“

“Tried Sunrise Cafe today and the food was excellent! The cheese enchiladas tasted authentic, the green salsa was delicious, and the chicken fajita taco was very good.

The only disappointment was that alcohol was advertised, but none was available when we visited. Other than that, the food and service made for a great experience.

“Upon first walking in I was greeted by the woman at the cash register, whom explained what my experience at this facility would be like. Due to it not being busy/ crowded, I was able to seat myself wherever I pleased. The woman attending my table, Terry, was very, very attentive to my needs. She stopped by ever so often and checked on me to see if everything was going good. She refilled my drink and brought extra napkins as needed. She was very polite and welcoming to this establishment. The food 4 out of 5 as it was close to closing so it was not the freshest, but it wasn’t the worst thing I’ve ever eaten. I would definitely come back to eat here whenever I’m in the area. “The $25 special for two is good. The steak tasted good but had a lot of gristle. The chicken was very good. The side salads are huge! Service was also good. It took 30 minutes to get our entrée. Margaritas were excellent & happy hour price was extremely low. The only complaint for every Applebee's is the music is way too loud!!“
