“I do recommend JJ's the food is tasty but....I walked in on a friday after work around 3:30..I always sit at the bar I was shocked to see the whole bar area was dirty and the floor was sticky! I'm a regular at this location on Tarrant Parkway and have always enjoyed the food and the margaritas....I almost turned around and walked out so disappointed! oh, one other thing, when I order food I always have to ask for silverware! “Except when temperatures are high. Went by this morning, about 10:45. Walked in to people waiting everywhere and told 10 - 15 minutes wait. Ok ..but looked around and counted 8 (EIGHT) empty, clean tables. Thought, ok, waiting for buffet to catch up, but no, only 1 person was in line there. They seated some, so we went to sit on bench area, and began to really sweat. When asked if AC wasn't working was told, "It's just the building, cause it's so hot outside". okay, we left. won't pay those prices, to be hot, no matter how good the food is. “We had an amazing experience, we walked though the bakery and the gentleman walked us over and explained sitting arrangements going above and beyond his role. Hagen was our server and he was incredible, walked us through the menu with passion for what this restaurant provides. The food was amazing and we especially loved the presentation of the meatball Farris wheel. The bread was delicious , appetizers, and entrees. “We love everything about Jason's Deli. The NRH location is the newest for us to visit and close to home. We visited there on Sunday and the food was great as usual however, they have got to be courteous to their customers and not leave the overflowing stinky cleaning carts sitting in the sun near the tables. The smell at the back of the restaurant was awful so we had to move. There were a couple of mix ups with the order but they're new and learning so we get that and the staff were all friendly. Please make a spot away from the tables for the cleaning carts. We will return after they're more established.“

“I came in during lunch rush, very busy. Every employee was occupied, but doing very good at their job. I'd like to highlight one employee, whose name tag said Nancy, who is doing just an absolutely terrific job. She was running all over the place, on top of everything. She was helping with catering, taking people's orders, taking orders to tables, taking orders to drivers outside, genuinely doing her best. I've worked in food before, and I know how hectic it can be. She was doing an amazing job of staying on top of everything, as was everyone else. I come to this location a lot, and they are never anything less than stellar.“

“I visited my parents in DFW for my birthday, and as a pizza lover they wanted to take me to Mountain Mikes Pizza. This is a pizza parlor chain we used to visit regularly when we lived in Northern California, and they knew it would be nostalgic for me.

While the location wasn't extremely close to us (40min away), the interior was very clean, and it was obvious that this establishment was relatively new. The staff was friendly, and the ordering process was painless.

Unfortunately, the order receipt machine that relays orders to the back ran out of paper and for some reason even when they replaced the paper the system isn't set up to print those orders stuck in limbo. We had been out most of the day, and hadn't eaten much because we knew this would be filling. 40min had past which we thought was a little ridiculous, and the staff actually noticed that we were still sitting without our food and they investigated.

I will say, while it took us over an hour to get our food, the staff was apologetic. They comped our meal, gave us a side of garlic knots which are super delicious. And the pizza, when it finally came out, was delicious and was even better than k remembered it.

I hope my experience was a one-off, but again, they were gracious hosts and they made the situation right.

Pizza-lovers of TX, I would strongly recommend you at least try this establishments. The sauce is incredible, and the pepperoni cups are what make it Mt. Mikes pizza. I am so excited to see them popping up here, and I would hate to see them go.

Some tips:

Try the garlic knots or the new jalapeño garlic knots. If you want a healthier option, dine-in and check out their fresh salad bar.

“This is one of the worst McAlister's I've ever been to. They serve disgusting & old bread, they mess up the simpliest orders, they have terrible customer service, and they mock and laugh at their customers in front of them. We will not be going back. I can't believe that they are still in business. Shocking. I ordered a pastrami sandwich on gluten free bread. The bread was as hard as a rock and I got one slice of SALAMI instead of any pastrami. When I called to have it fixed they kept me on hold for over 30 minutes. When I called again, the worker talked crap about me to the MANAGER and they laughed about it together, then hung up on me. I never even got to tell them what was wrong. My husband had to drive back to the McAlister's to have it handled in person. Horrible establishment.“

“Katie was very polite and helpful. We both stated how upset we were that the inferno sauce had gotten discontinued. She recommended the regular spicy Sauce and I’ll say it was delicious but still miss the inferno sauce. I’ve been to many Pie 5 restaurants before but I have to say that this location is very nice compared to others.“

“This place is always busy. That said I've never had a bad experience. All the associates are very young from what I've seen, but they've all been very polite and professional. The food is always great. Only bad thing is they are closed on Sundays.“

“Eat at this location nearly every other Friday, and it’s usually very fast, friendly and accurate. However, Friday the 10th, this was not the case. As I didn’t recognize more than two folks, I figure there are a bunch of new hires. Large fries were less than half-full, 5-count nuggets had two that were simply bread & didn’t get the requested sauces. Since we were a dine-in customer, the issues were resolved quickly and efficiently… but had I been a drive-thru order, I might not return.
