Dixie is a real gem. Excellent food, staff, prices are inexpensive, clean and full of people. People are black, white, brown and they're eating in Johnny Reb's Dixie Diner and knew it when they pulled up. Find it refreshing to see people mixed together enjoying themselves. It's a piece of Americana, the old days where people smile, eat hearty and laugh without being in front of a camera!
Dixie Cafe's fried catfish is no kidding, the best you'll find in Texas!
