“It's a three star restaurant with a five staff. The food is the same as every DQ, but the staff really is better here. They are helpful, pleasant, and customer centric. They stay on task, yet will stop to assist mid task with the customer needs. The overall restaurant is kept, yet a couple of the machines are out of order such as the drink machine is out of order.“
“Went inside to use the restroom and order. The restroom was very clean and nice. The inside of the restaurant was new and bright. The staff was very quick and left me with a smile. I don’t often go to McDonald’s, but this location was very, very nice.“
“We've never been to a Checkers before... so we thought we'd stop and try it out.Our sever was amazing. She was extremely friendly, kind and patient!!!Being a big family can sometimes be frustrating for servers but this lady was fantastic. She was worth the stop at Checkers.The food was o.k. not the worst fast food... but also not worth raving over. I can't say that I'd over go back to Checkers but I can say the service we got was very very good!!!“
“I just left this place I'm passing by as I'm traveling to another state and my experience was amazing I'm always scared when going to McDonald's because I've always had bad experience with workers and food service.but here the service and workers attitude was so friendly welcoming and great the older Hispanic ladies were very nice the younger African American girl was super nice..the place was very clean!!Bathrooms clean!“
“This is a great place to satisfy your hunger while traveling. My entourage has different tastes, and this stopover has a Sonic, Taco Bell, McDonald's and a gas station all within a hundred feet of each other, with a Jack-in-the-box on the other side and of the freeway. So, everyone gets what they want quickly and we're back on the road happy. This Sonic location is a bit older and not in the greatest of condition (only reason I'm taking a star off for atmosphere), but the fantastic staff deliver outstanding service and food. Also, Sonic has those great deals every now and then like cheap Mozzarella Sticks or Corn Dogs! I highly recommend a stop if you're traveling between Houston and Austin!“
