“Great food place! The food is tasty and the prices reasonable. It’s more of a pick-up food place rather than a stay-and-eat place.Their strong suit is their chicken package with 1 whole chicken, rice, charro beans, tortillas, grilled onion, and salsas all for $20. It feeds about 4 grown hungry men and it’s a good deal. It is ready in about 3 minutes.The chicken has a good flavor of being grilled over coal. The rice is decent. The charro beans have good flavor. The salsas are good but the green one is especially good.The taqueria has a wide range of food. They also have a rib package which is a bit pricier than the chicken but still good and tender. The pupusas are good and made on the spot so it has a bit of wait time. Their fresh waters are good and huge. Their tamales are good sized if a bit lacking in taste.There is ample parking and wheelchair accessible.Try this place it’s really good, with a wide selection, and reasonably priced.“

“My co-worker goes here often and speaks highly of it so we decided to go try it out last night. I had a chile relleno and it was very good. 10/10 recommend. Our server was so nice and polite too and on our way out, someone followed up with us to make sure everything had gone well (it had). We will absolutely be back. I was a big fan of their salsa.“

“Another 5 star lunch today on August 25th. The wife and I had a great lunch date. I had the student special(includes a cheese enchilada, bean and cheese chalupa and rice) and the wife had the Monday special even though it was Tuesday. It has a beef taco, cheese enchilada, rice and beans. We also got us a soft cheese taco and some tortillas and butter. The chips and salsa were great as always.“

“Another accidental find (my favorite)! We saw this place on a drive & knew it was going to be good when we saw a large crew of workers ordering. We ordered the half chicken & tacos & first bite we were hooked! The tortillas are fresh made by hand there & the salsa is amazing! The menu is extensive and has something for everyone even kids. I read a review that service is bad & I 100% DISAGREE with that. The lady that helped us was kind and welcoming. Kindness reciprocates kindness. Will be back next time we are in town.“

“My husband and I often go to Chili’s here in Waco Texas located off of valley mills drive later in the evening when the rush is over. We always get the three for me deal. Just pick a beverage, starter and your main dish. You can’t beat the price at $10.99. I have to say the burgers here are so delicious. It comes with fries. If you have the app you are in for a treat every time with all you can eat salsa and chips. We ordered the regular southwestern queso dip. It’s so good! It’s one restaurant that still is open late, until 12:00.“

“I had an awesome experience at Freebirds. The staff was super friendly from the moment we walked in, and they went out of their way to make sure we were getting the best deal for what we ordered. You can really tell they care about their customers.

The food was delicious—honestly better than other restaurants of the same style. Everything tasted fresh, well‑seasoned, and made exactly the way we asked. Our kids ran off to get their own drinks, and the staff didn’t hesitate to help them out and even made sure their lids were put on correctly. It’s the kind of small thing that shows how much they pay attention.

Overall, Freebirds gave us great food, great service, and a great experience. We’ll definitely be back.“

“Ate here for the first time tonight and live a mile away but never tried it . The service was outstanding our waiter Lorenzo was attentive and personable and never left a drink half empty and had great recommendations on food. We had the fajitas with chicken, steak, bacon wrapped shrimp, bbq ribs. As well as queso con carne and an order of carnitas . Don’t sleep on getting the carnitas . Dang. The Gm is super friendly as well and I let him know we were very impressed with the service as well as quality of food . If you are in the Waco area come check this place out you won’t leave disappointed.“
