“I was born in Indiana. When I was around 4 or 5 my Dad and used to take me to a Mr. Gattis in our small town. The memories I had were great. It reminds me of when everything was simpler and when I knew less. We recently moved to Denton. I wanted to go to a different Walmart because the one in Denton gets packed and sketchy in the evenings. As I was walking in, the bright Mr. Gatti's sign was right in front of me. I was enthralled. I immediately sent a picture to my Dad, and called my wife. My wife also went when she was a kid, and I had no idea. I forgot I even had memories of the place. We planned to go with both of our kids the following Sunday. Sunday finally came, we loaded the kids up, and we went. The space was small, but the memories are what mattered. There were now 3 generations in our family that had been, and I was proud of that. The pizza finally came. The staff were so kind and knew it meant a lot to us. Then I took the first bite.

We were smiling ear to ear.

As I was sitting there I realized, places like Mr. Gattis are what remind us of the little joys in life.

“With Blizzard 2021 going on we had no power so ventured out for food. Everything was closed it packed. We came upon Dominos. I walked in, placed an order and was out in 15! “My first visit! I called in to order, and was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. I went in 25 minutes later and everything was fresh and hot! This was the best Korean BBQ fried chicken I have ever had in my lifetime! The french fries were perfect! Crispy and hot with a wonderful coating and honey butter flavor! “In Denton for a business trip and decided to try this place on a whim through Uber eats. I can definitely understand why they have such high ratings. I ordered the half chicken spicy and a stick skewer thing with rice cakes and lil sausages.

Absolutely delicious. The chicken was INSANELY crunchy even after being drenched in their spicy sauce AND delivered which I can only assume was done 20-30 after it was finished cooking. That shows just how good of quality the food is. If it's still VERY good on delivery then it's gotta be phenomenal in person.“

“I picked up wings tonight not realizing my wife ordered Them 30 minutes ago. When I picked up the food, the fries were lukewarm, and that wasn’t Wingstop’s fault. I didn’t realize it and brought it to the attention of the cashier and she mentioned the order was 30 minutes old. At that point, the manager immediately had the fries remade and gave me fresh fries. “So good,I didn't know this was boomer jacks it just said boomers outside,had I known we wouldn't have gone ,lucky we didn't know.Last time we had Boomer Jacks in Frisco it was awful everything was just not good.This location was by far so different, service was great,drinks were great,food was incredible everyone was so kind.The whole vibe was just so great,it was actually my husband's birthday and we had drove to Denton to shop for a little bit and ended up at Boomers,by reading a review on Reddit about a good burger at Boomers so there we landed . “I placed an order online but after working 12 hrs I did not verify the store location and ordered it at another store. When I went to pick it up they said they did not have the order. I called the other stores and was told that because the food was ready they could not refund me. Which was fine, it was my mistake after all.

The manager heard this and called the store as well. After a discussion he told me that was not right and he was going to take care of us. This is why we come here, they are great people and take care of their customers first and foremost. Thank you again guys.“

“I somehow made the mistake online of choosing carry-out instead of delivery. I called the 1301 FM 407 ste 209 store in Lewisville and quickly got an answer and the problem was corrected. I thought I’d forsure get a cold pizza 45 minutes later. Nope, they had the pizza to me in 10 minutes. Probably the best pizza and cheese sticks I’ve ever had. Management and employees deserve an A+.“

“I was visiting from Canada and I came here a couple days ago to try Canes for my first time. I dined in and I had the BEST experience ever. The vibe in the restaurant was so sweet and my server was so nice. He would take my plates out without me even needing to get up and always asked if i needed anything. I had asked his name and he said it was Hayden. This young man deserves more recognition for the hard work he puts in. This being my first time at a raising canes I didn't know what to expect, but, it certainly wasn't restaurant type waitering. And another thing, the food was amazing. I had asked for extra fresh and they delivered. I was pleasantly surprised and now I wish we had canes in Canada. Love this place!“
