“I was born in Indiana. When I was around 4 or 5 my Dad and used to take me to a Mr. Gattis in our small town. The memories I had were great. It reminds me of when everything was simpler and when I knew less. We recently moved to Denton. I wanted to go to a different Walmart because the one in Denton gets packed and sketchy in the evenings. As I was walking in, the bright Mr. Gatti's sign was right in front of me. I was enthralled. I immediately sent a picture to my Dad, and called my wife. My wife also went when she was a kid, and I had no idea. I forgot I even had memories of the place. We planned to go with both of our kids the following Sunday. Sunday finally came, we loaded the kids up, and we went. The space was small, but the memories are what mattered. There were now 3 generations in our family that had been, and I was proud of that. The pizza finally came. The staff were so kind and knew it meant a lot to us. Then I took the first bite.

The scene where the critic takes his first bite in Ratatouille; That was me and my wife in that moment.

We were smiling ear to ear.

As I was sitting there I realized, places like Mr. Gattis are what remind us of the little joys in life.

“With Blizzard 2021 going on we had no power so ventured out for food. Everything was closed it packed. We came upon Dominos. I walked in, placed an order and was out in 15! They were so friendly and attentive despite how busy they were! Thank you for those workers that came to work today and being so fast and positive despite the rush!! We appreciate you!“

“Really nice staff. It seems like a mom and pop shop rather then a chain restaurant. It was empty when I went in but it seems like they are more of a pick up place. “I picked up wings tonight not realizing my wife ordered Them 30 minutes ago. When I picked up the food, the fries were lukewarm, and that wasn’t Wingstop’s fault. I didn’t realize it and brought it to the attention of the cashier and she mentioned the order was 30 minutes old. At that point, the manager immediately had the fries remade and gave me fresh fries. That’s what I call customer service. I am so impressed in the food is always so good.“

“In Denton for a business trip and decided to try this place on a whim through Uber eats. I can definitely understand why they have such high ratings. I ordered the half chicken spicy and a stick skewer thing with rice cakes and lil sausages.

Absolutely delicious. The chicken was INSANELY crunchy even after being drenched in their spicy sauce AND delivered which I can only assume was done 20-30 after it was finished cooking. That shows just how good of quality the food is. If it's still VERY good on delivery then it's gotta be phenomenal in person.“

“At 1:05pm, we saw all the cars around this restaurant. We knew the crowd shows where the good food is. We were greeted as we walked in. They took our order. And my Cheeseburger was superb and my wife's Wings were good. Thank you for a nice lunch served fast.“

“My first visit! I called in to order, and was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. I went in 25 minutes later and everything was fresh and hot! This was the best Korean BBQ fried chicken I have ever had in my lifetime! The french fries were perfect! Crispy and hot with a wonderful coating and honey butter flavor! This will be my go to place for chicken now! You can see that the staff prepare everything by hand, and the service is exceptional, love all the sauces too! All the sauces are really flavorful, but the best way to order in my opinion is the plain golden original chicken with a side of sauce for dipping. That's keeps the breading super crispy wyle you eat it.
We dont order from other chicken places anymore.

The sides are great too, some of the best French fries iv ever had. Somehow as crispy as their chicken, without being overcooked. My wife and I come back regularly.“

“I placed an order online but after working 12 hrs I did not verify the store location and ordered it at another store. When I went to pick it up they said they did not have the order. I called the other stores and was told that because the food was ready they could not refund me. Which was fine, it was my mistake after all.

The manager heard this and called the store as well. After a discussion he told me that was not right and he was going to take care of us. This is why we come here, they are great people and take care of their customers first and foremost. Thank you again guys.“
