“Stopped here for some burgers on the way home from the lake-I’m so glad we did. The burger patty was huge, maybe not thick but definitely didn’t fit on the bun-neither me nor my teenage son could finish it. The fries and onion rings were so good also. The cashier, Kenasyn, was also so nice. Definitely recommend.“

“Wow ! THIS place is soo good . Staff was soo friendly , it was my 1st time they they allowed me to try the bread pudding. Which BTW was phenomenal. Then we sitting in car outside and was grabbing. A bite before we drove away and the guy came out and gave us a little cup of crayfish queso to try! And it was absolutely fabulous yall go see this guy. It's great!!!“

“If you're looking for a great home cooked meal this is the right place. I do have to warn you if you've never lived in the country you might not appreciate it. This is like taking a step back in time. When you walk in you'll pay for your meal n then your waitress will seat you at a long table with bench seats. There's no menu n you get your on beverage. They bring out the food n put it all on the table. Fried chicken,chicken & dumplings, mashed potatoes w/gravy, greens, coleslaw, beans, cornbread & biscuits, etc.If you run out of something just ask n they'll bring you more.This reminds me of my grandmother n grandfather's farm. She would cook all morning, set everything on the table n yell out the kitchen window it was time to eat.

Parking: Actually there's a parking lot in front of the restaurant n a little to the side there is parking. I guess if it were a holiday or the old time village is doing exhibitions of life back when it might be difficult to park.

Kid-friendliness: This is a great place for kids n the whole family.“

“Driving through on a Sunday and enjoyed this spot for a nice, quick lunch. (Patty-melt and a Chicken fried chicken sandwich with fries and onion rings along with iced teas. ALL of it was delicious. Even with the church crowd, the wait staff was fast and friendly. We recommend.“
