“We had very attentive staff. Our waitress had recommendations for how steaks should best be prepared and checked on us frequently. The staff made sure we had plenty of water, drinks, bread or anything we needed. The food was excellent to the very tasty fried goat cheese, salads, delicious steaks served hot and prepared just right. The side dishes were served family style with the Brussels sprouts and scalloped potatoes both being delicious. It was topped off with a nice dessert of cheesecake as a birthday treat which was more than enough for all of us! Thank you for a delightful evening and meal.“
“I had a superb birthday dinner experience at this elegant restaurant of fine dining. They were so thoughtful and genuine about my special day. I had a birthday card at my table from the restaurant. What a wonderful detail. Our meal was extraordinary with succilent lobster and a juicy steak. Champagne was at the table ordered by my date..Our server was practically at our tables side most of the time dressed in fine dining attire addressing our every need. Best place ever for a beautiful surprise. Friendly staff that go out of their way to assist. I would have to say better than Perry's.“
“Another fine time at Yard House. Party of 5 on a weekday at 7pm. No wait (they don't take reservations, but use the waitlist app). I would recommend this on a Friday/Sat. Service was very attentive and the food was excellent. Pork Burger and fries, Spicy Garlic Beef noodles, Beef Bowl, BLT, Chicken Avocado sandwich all rated excellent. Price is acceptable. Parking can be tricky. Limited Handicapped considering size of La Cantera...this has been an issue for quite some time (but that's not Yard-House's issue). “Having a meal at Perry’s is always a great experience. We were immediately greeted by our server, Gibby. We dined at the restaurant last night and had the 10 ounce fillet, macaroni and cheese, and twice baked whipped potatoes. The steak was perfectly cooked at medium rare and very hot. The macaroni and cheese was great, The twice baked potatoes were melt in your mouth delicious!The service was fantastic. Gibby seemed to appear whenever we needed something, yet he did not hover.There are a number of high-end steakhouses in San Antonio, and Perry’s never disappoints! We definitely will be back.“
“Food and service were both great. Tabatha did a superb job. It was our 55th anniversary and it was acknowledged by a glass of champagne prior to the meal as well as dessert. The manager was very helpful with the eclub activity. Will definitely return in near future“
“First time in TR, great service! even the manager went to our table checking if we were good! We had to wait for an hour but I heard there is an APP where you can add yourself to the waiting list. Couldn't finish my steak (I was full), I wanted it well done but still had some red in it, but the taste was perfect. I already missed TR. They really make you feel special.Parking: Had to park in front of the chicken wings restaurant, it's far but not that far.“

“The staff here saved my partner’s birthday dinner after another restaurant told us they could not take a reservation as large as ours. Outback was able to take a pretty last minute reservation for 14 people with only like five hours notice. They put us in a separate area from the rest of the restaurant so we didn’t have to shout over each other to talk. The waitress was amazing. She was very attentive and she had to deal with several separate checks. She was friendly and charismatic. Food was good, about what you’d expect for the price which is better lately than can be said at most sit in restaurants of similar price range.“

“I usually have nothing but good things to say about Saltgrass Steak House but this trip was not that way. Got there with no wait to be seated. Places our order and things seemed to be going well but just like that everything changed. It took quite a long time to get our food and when we did it was luke warm at best. I was changed extra to have 2 sides instead of a side and a salad. No big deal but when my food came out the extra side I order was cold and uneatable. I told this to our waitress when she finally came back and check on us. The butter that was placed on my steak didn't melt at all and my baked potato was the same. After explaining this my waitress said so sorry. But refused to take the 2nd side of my bill or even ask for a manager to come talk to us. Just an overall bad proformance from the team at Saltgrass.“

“A hidden gem !!! The atmosphere is awesome like a mini museum and it can serve as a romantic spot or family gathering spot Great place togther amd reasonable for being a steak place .We've made a point to visit at least once a week as a family and my Son has tried just about every thing on the menu Cabrito tone ribeye etc and their salad and baked potatos are great on point and those hot rolls are the icing on the cake just great all the way around its hard to find a place that has a good atmosphere then to have good customer service and great food all at decent prices . Especially post covid just having to write this makes me want to visit them for dinner today They get my stamp of approval #NinagzFave“
“I had a ribeye and it was salty and a little overcooked; loaded potato was not loaded at all however we did speak to the manager Kayla and she re-did my baked potato was very professional and friendly. The Loghotn Steak was absolutely fabulous! The service could be a little better with better organized and knowledgeable waiters. Overall a 4 stars. ** We did pay for our food** Thank you Kayla!“

“We came in for an early dinner. We were sat in “Jordan’s” section. He was PHENOMENAL. I was a server for many years. I actually commented to my wife “he did nothing wrong”. His demeanor, service attitude and knowledge of the menu were beyond excellent. If we get back into SA we will seek his section. I’d suggest you do the same.“
“From the moment we walked in, late night, near end of shift keep in mind, the host was alert, quick with greeting us, sat us right away, we waited little to no time to be greeted by our server Asia, she gave recommendations and the food was far from just good, it was phenomenal.
