“My husband and I stopped here on Sunday for a late lunch and oh my gosh this restaurant is wonderful! Immaculately clean, a welcoming atmosphere, exceptional staff who made us feel welcome. Our meal was delicious; I had Chicken Parm, my husband had Shrimp and Chicken Alfredo and both meals were hot, fresh, and authentic Italian food. Our salads were fresh and crispy, the bread was aromatic, hot and tasty, and the tea was even great: freshly brewed. We've all had that place where the food was great, the tea not, but here every single thing was superb. It was well worth the drive from Floresville and we will be coming here again.”

“+(***) Service is always Nice Friendly and I don't want to jinx myself but never an issue exactly in a small town we hate to take the long drive there EVEN worse when you get back home and things aren't there or bad but never an issue. THANK YA FOR always keeping it simple.
+(**) I Mean it's taco bell I'm not expecting Top tier food but so far taco bell has stepped up the game with quality I know prices went up but I much rather pay couple dollars more for better quality but not were it's a big dent in the pocket LOVE the New Steak Chalupa Taco the steak and cheese where flavor full I love the cinnamon twist and LOVE LOVE LOVE the potatoe taco and the chipotle sauce YUMMMM!”

“The barbacoa is the best I’ve had! I’m from the RGV and it tastes just like it if not better! Definitely recommend if you’re passing through Hondo or staying. I get 1lb and a pack of corn tortillas. Makes about 10 well-stuffed tacos! It’s the best!”

I am very excited about the fact that Golden Chick uses beef tallow to fry with instead of all the poisonous seed oils used everywhere else, the lady at the counter ,,Noel I think was her name, told me this, and how this isn't their number one selling point has me baffled but I know I will telling everyone that will listen and hope more people find out about it. Game changer just saying !!! Highly recommend and the service well it is very inviting I felt like a vip or a family member or something thanks for good vibes, back soon”
