American Restaurants near Hondo

“Would recommend but beware! My husband and I went in for lunch today, had some amazing hamburgers...wouldn't classify it as a "smash burger" but they were good! Our waitress walked past our table, dropping silverware set up on the floor (yes a napkin is rolled around most of it, not completely enclosed in the napkin...but still it fell on the floor), picked it up, tucked it under her arm pit (3 sets) & proceeds to drop something off at 1 table, removes silverware sets from under her arm and then greets new table, placing said silverware in front of them. Hostess walks past us and I let her know what I saw. She says let me get the manager. Manager comes over and I explain what I've just seen, telling her they need new silverware. Manager says "thanks, I'll talk to her". None of them...waitress, hostess, Manager go to the table and change out the silverware. I did inform the table and they asked another waitress for new silverware sets.“

“We visit Cowboys at least three times weekly. Waitresses are phenomenal. Atmosphere is home town South Texas. Owners Lisa & Manny are AWESOME!! Great food & VERY reasonably priced. Very relaxing. Great place to eat. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!“
