“The parking lot and the store were easy to get to. When we entered, my husband and I weren’t greeted. There is a plentiful selection of various Filipino baked goods, like ensaymada and Ube treats. You can also order milkshakes, fruit drinks, and coffee. There is outdoor seating. The place was packed, which tells you it is really good. My husband and I especially enjoyed the Ube brownies, which had a rich flavor. We were served fast - in and out in ten minutes. Since a lot of people were at the bakery, there wasn’t much room to walk. There is no restroom, so keep that in mind. You may also want to do some research on Filipino baked goods before coming here (if you’ve never had them before), as there are no explanations on the signs. Overall score: A-“

This bakery is a must stop for us in Houston. Great value and generous portion. Taiwanese style bakery with many different flavors, salty or sweet.

Highly recommend this bakery when visit HTown.

“We were looking for a good Mexican Restaurant for breakfast and this one had great reviews. Went ahead and visited the place. We definitely do not regret going. I ordered a Vampiro drink (I believe that is what it was called) and it was healthy, freshly made, and delicious. My boyfriend ordered green chilaquiles and I ordered the breakfast croissant. Both were exquisite. Our server was amazing and very welcoming. There is a gentleman there taking care of the wait list and of cleaning up, and he too was very welcoming. We are from out of town so we weren’t knowledgeable about the menu, and the employees here were very understanding and answered any of the questions we had. Thank you!“

“I’m not going to lie. I was iffy on the concept of an outdoor cookie shop — in this Texas heat, I think not!

In this instance, I was gladly proven wrong. My experience at Milk and Cookies really blew me away. The chocolate chip cookies was to die for, the ambiance Pinterest worthy, and not going to lie, there was something about ending my day outside with a warm cookie that made the experience magical.

It was a 9/10 experience that will have me going back the next time I crave a sweet treat; the only thing that could have made it better was if my milk was a little bit more cold when served lol, and if they had a little bit more seating. Truly think they can either fit a picnic table or 1-2 more mini tables in the lawn area.

Tip: I have a couple. First, as the name suggests, you can literally order a glass of milk alongside your cookies. I’d recommend you do this to tie the experience together. As well, I’d visit when the sun is going down. It honestly wasn’t too hot around 6pm but peak TX heat can be brutal. Be careful out there. Finally, Milk & Cookies can be a cute way to end your date with a little sweet treat, js!“

“finally tried this place after passing by million times. im not much of a donut person but this spot was highly recommended when i was searching for delicious kolache. i always see lines of people in the morning here.!

anyways, walked in, they had a whole menu but it was confusing. i wish the menu was written on the glass window with simple $. i wasnt sure what to order so i just got the mini donuts, strawberry/chocolate/vanilla donuts one each and sausage kolache.

the kolache was super simple which it was a bit of a let down. the kolache bun was good but i was expecting for it to be a breakfast type kolache where it will fill you up. i think all the kolaches they have are really basic,. so i dont think im gonna get that again.

the flavored donuts were good and i loved the mini donuts! i liked how they werent overly sweet. that was a big plus for me. and the overall pricing was reasonable.“
