I had high expectations after seeing pictures of the food on Instagram and it did not disappoint! We got the Torta Croissant with brisket, brisket Elote and a side of brisket. Everything was absolutely amazing. The torta croissant melted in my mouth. The flavoring on the elote was soooo good. Can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu! Chicano BBQ crew is slinging some good bbq. The food is fantastic, with outstanding barbecue. The brisket is moist, tender, and has a very peppery bark. The ribs are falling off the bone. The big Texx burger, which is a double smash burger with a slice of brisket, caramelized onions, and barbecue sauce, is incredible. The Texas Twinkies are also available. The service is great, and the staff always makes sure everything is right. However, customers should know it is cash only, unless using cash app or Zelle. The restaurant is set up outside of a bar with plenty of seating, and the bar is family friendly. They do not sell plates or drinks. Parking can be horrible, and the wait may be long even though everything is already cooked. Some meat was observed not covered and protected from flies. Despite these issues, the food is top tier and the best BBQ some have had in their life.
