Frenchey's Chicken Reviews
We ordered lunch from there today the chicken was old they sent us water instead of the drinks we order and when I tried calling to let them know I asked to speak with the manager the person who answered the phone just started talking crazy with an attitude when I was trying to tell her what the issue was we will never order from there again 😡
PRICE GOUGING!!!
SHAME ON YA'LL!!!!
Everytime i come to Frenchy's on Scott there is a new issue. I have complained and had issue with the pricing in the past but tbis is ridiculous. I purchased a 12 piece chicken only and was charged an additional $3 because the prices in the computer changed and NOT the signage. Everyone who works there is aware of the change and fears retribution from management to resolve a customer complaint. So once again...things are different...read full review
I recommend that they stop serving old hard fried chicken wings & large thighs w/all that fat on ToGo orders so when U drive all the way home you're stuck with a bad order. I bought 3 orders Fifth Ward Specials $36.60 & 1 Red Bean w/Rice + 1 Macaroni w/Cheese $6.69 which was not good at all. Tasted old & we don't live very close by but my church is near by & does a lot of business with Frenchy's but for me & mine we will not do business with Frenchy's. This was at your East...read full review

Frenchey's Chicken is a well-known restaurant that has been a part of the community for many years. It is famous for its variety of dishes, especially the signature chicken, which is often compared to popular chains like Breakfast Club and Lucille's. Recent reviews highlight that the food remains consistently good, with many customers mentioning the best fried chicken they have had and boudin balls as a highlight. The restaurant is generally clean, though some feel it is outdated and not very comfortable to eat in. Customers also note that prices have recently changed without notice, and there is sometimes a small extra charge for items like peppers and rolls. The fries and sausage options have received mixed reviews, with some disappointment expressed about the sausage and fries. The koolaid continues to be a standard offering, and the customer service, especially the drive-thru employee, is praised for being kind and attentive. While there may be longer wait times, as one reviewer experienced a 45-minute wait for a family order, many find that the food quality makes it worth the wait. Overall, Frenchey's Chicken remains a popular spot for good, hot, and delicious food.
