Delicious fried rice and fried fishhh
Walked in not knowing what to expect. Was greeted by the lovely cashier. Very welcoming restaurant was clean and tidy. We ended up ordering the big jeaux burger, a cup of gumbo and the pasta lashell.
Everything came out hot and fresh and was much better than we anticipated! Everything was full of flavor and tasted fresh. We will be back!
Called in 30 minutes for a pick up and completely forgot my order so I came in thinking my food was ready and started preparing it. The fool looked quite good but it was over seasoned and salty. I honestly won’t be eating here again. It’s just not good.
Gumbo Jeaux's serves up outstanding Creole cuisine that's sure to please. Menu standouts include the beans and rice, pork chop sandwich, boudin link, country 5-piece wings, and the shrimp Po-Boy, which is "OUTRAGEOUS" with perfect shrimp, bread, veggies, and tartar sauce. This place is amazing! They have great prices too. The food is quality and the service is too. If you're into blackened catfish, you must try the Catfish Opelousas.
