Sat down and left without ordering. Zero customer service.
Went to the location off Westheimer for the first time ever. Very old building, menus were old and faded, staff seemed unfriendly except one employee.
Noone welcomed or acknowledged me waiting to be seated. Interior is outdated, very old menu on the walls, filthy floors. I had the lemon ice box pie, despite good taste, it was barely cold.
Not a good experience and contradicts their website mission.
It's one of the best.....

Based on the reviews, House of Pies has great service and delicious food. The staff, like Sebastian, Eli, Alanna, and Kaitlynn, are friendly and helpful. One waiter was on point with attending to a to-go order, while another was very friendly when changing an order. The overnight crew made amazing suggestions with a friendly attitude and top-tier service. Another server always provides a 10/10 experience and knows regular orders. The food is absolutely delicious, like a nice good home cooked meal. Food portions are pretty big, seasoned well, and cooked just right. The restaurant is very accommodating. Specific meals mentioned include a small pecan pie, cheesecake, and chocolate pecan pie. It is a pleasant restaurant to eat at, and many customers will be back again.
