Kobe Japanese Restaurant

This was a convenient location to meet a friend. It's a small restaurant that feels dated and tired in it's interior appearance and had an unusual odor. The menu wasn't as appealing with it's offering of specialty rolls. The combination of some of the ingredients felt repetitive. Though the service was friendly and fast. The food we ate was decent and had good flavor.

Had a late Dinner on a Thursday night. Only two other tables had patrons, which made this Quaint restaurant even more private. The ambience here was nice. My daughters and I enjoyed miso soup, combo rice, New York roll, California roll, a tiger eye roll oh, and some shrimp tempura. I got to Kobe with kids pretty regularly for dinner. We like that it is normally quiet and the food is always good. Portions are pretty good for the price. We love their bento box with sashimi. The tuna and salmon are top quality.The only downside is the service that might be slow and their tempura can be flavorless.
