Nice place and location. Authentic south Indian Non-Veg and Veg food. I have not had such good paratha and non-veg dishes from the Southern part of India anywhere else in Houston. Would go there again. Forgot to take pics, as the food was great, just got eating before i took the pics...:-)
I knew that I would find myself on the west side of town as I had an appointment at the Apple Store in Highland Village and then it was a question of whether I would treat myself to the delicious fish sandwich at Christie’s, or, go with a dosa somewhere along Westheimer. Well, I came across a review of.dosas and I opted for Kumar’s which is on the back side of a little strip center on Westheimer. Great place! Authentic south indian food and the best in Houston!!! We went to some big south indian brands before visiting Kumars and Kumars taste is much much better!!! They also have a lot of great vegetarian options with great taste. Go there if you are looking for authentic south indian food. Also generally restaurant have one or two out of the three chutney they serve to be good, but all three chutneys in kumar was very good, lets you wonder which taste you want to finish...read full review
