The Lemon Tree Reviews
The owner of this establishment is a coward. She doesn’t have the decency to come out to speak with a customer when there is a problem with an order. Instead, she sends her worker to tell us “she refused to speak with you.” I’ve been a loyal customer for years & it’s disappointing to say the least with the way we were treated.
Lemon tree has the best Peruvian food I've ever had and they are one of my favorite restaurants in Houston! If you're on the west side of Houston you should definitely check them out!!!
Excellent food and you can take your wine 🍷

The Lemon Tree is a small and lively Peruvian restaurant that offers a variety of delicious dishes, including popular choices like lomo, pollo saltado, and tacu tacu. The restaurant is known for its excellent flavor and good-sized portions. The appetizers and juices are highly praised, with fried yucca balls stuffed with cheese being a standout starter. Customers often enjoy sharing dishes like saltado de mariscos, which is very good and satisfying. The ceviche is considered possibly the best in the city, and the fish and combination fried rice are also favorites. Desserts such as the lucuma (Peruvian fruit) cake are surprising and tasty, and the tres leches remains a perfect dessert option. The atmosphere is lively, especially on Fridays and Saturdays when live music and a DJ playing Latin music encourage dancing. Service is attentive, with friendly staff who remember regular customers. The restaurant's limited hours make reservations advisable, as it gets crowded quickly. Parking can be challenging due to the shared lot. The restaurant has a BYOB policy and adds a 20% service charge to the bill. While the food and vibrant ambiance create an enjoyable experience, the loud music and dancing may not suit young children.
