The food here is ALWAYS so ridiculously delicious and cooked to perfection. My husband and I have been frequenting this place for the past 2 1/2 years and it never misses, always hits. The food is fried and seasoned perfectly. Go-to food items are fried chicken, fish, shrimp, hush puppies and dirty rice. I am so surprised that more people don't know about this place. Hidden gem for sure!

It is now j j fish and chicken. A company based out of Chicago. I go to the store when I'm in Chicago. But now he has three locations in Houston. The one on hwy 6 is the one I went to and was not disappointed. Lot of fresh food for a low price. Then the hospitality is out of this world. The owner was in the store today. He is an awesome guy.
