“My aunt was visiting and I was recommended Okto for dinner. It was my first time and I’ve worked in the industry for years. Took a gamble and it was all I could’ve hoped for. Perfect ambience for any night out. The food was beyond perfection. The service was immaculate. Anna and the other bar staff were attentive but not bothersome at all. Itai was the cherry on top. Provided drinks and laughter after we enjoyed desert cocktails. I will recommend this place to anyone on a first date or showing someone a proper night out in houston or just wanting a professional dining experience. Once you navigate achieving valet service it is A1 after that. Will be back many times.“

“In the Village for the afternoon and randomly picked this restaurant for lunch. Was a beautiful day and we were seated at there covered outdoor patio. Greeted by an extremely helpful and knowledgeable waiter. Took his time to help us with the menu as this was our first time there. Hummus is home made fresh and excellent. Had a delicious Turkish pizza and can highly recommend the Doner Kebab plate. Can’t wait to return and explore more items on the menu. Exceptional service and food. Highly recommend. 🧿“

“We discovered this place last week and revised today for brunch. Food was great, environment was lovely. As positive I like to be, it was bothersome to see our waiter (same young lady) both times with a less than warm attitude, or she felt stretched thin. To me, I’ll go back for a great meal, yet, if service made us feel “unwelcome” or “unenthusiastic “ as another reviewer noted, this most likely be the last visit.“

“I absolutely love this place! The food is consistently delicious—full of flavor, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every dish I’ve tried has been a hit. The service is excellent, and what really stands out is the staff. Everyone is incredibly friendly and welcoming, always greeting you with a smile and making you feel right at home. It’s rare to find a spot that gets both the food and the atmosphere just right, but this restaurant definitely delivers. Highly recommend!“

“I love CAVA, have always had great experiences in all locations I have visited. Today (2/25/25) was my first visit to this location. I ordered the Spicy Lamb and Avocado bowl. This is the first time I have ordered a curated bowl as I typically make my own bowl. The lamb was cooked perfectly, the veggies were fresh. The only thing I would suggest is that if you have "avocado" in the name that the avocado be more present. The black lentils were cooked to perfection for me - they were firm (which is the best way) so if you do not like firm lentils, I would suggest choosing a different base for your bowl. The saffron basmati rice is a delicious option. They added a half avocado but it was a very small avocado so there was not much considering it is in the name of the plate. My colleague ordered the Steak + Harissa bowl. She liked it but said the steak was on the dry side so she would go back to chicken next time. The team is always very friendly in each location I have visited. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and will continue to be a CAVA regular.“

“Consistently great food, freshly prepar, with a smile. The mixed grill is outstanding and their falafel is among the best I've ever had. Counter service, clean and comfortable dining area, nothing fancy. Cooked to order so prepare to wait a few minutes, well worth it.“

“This time was much better. They are continuing to improve their menu and service. Sunshine the bartender and Kiki our waitress were amazing and attentive and showed excellent customer service and made us feel special. We will be back based on these improvements. Food as always is delicious“

“We had hiked with our dogs and went for lunch at Cafe Petra at their outdoor patio. It was a cool day and our dogs loved it there. The waitress/server was very friendly and brought a jug of cold water with ice for the dogs. The combination plate and spinach pie were excellent and authentic. We love their Greek food.“

“The food was mediocre. It was limited and simplistic. The black and white sandwich was interesting. Mixing a burger with fried chicken sandwich, but it was not the easiest to eat. The Chicken Shawarma Special Sandwich was tasty enough, but was kinda greasy to the point that when I picked it up to move it all the chicken just fell out. The service was lacking. There was only one person tending to the entire front of house. We were never offered any sort of silverware. I was surprised that he offered us refills on our canned drinks without making us pay for them. The fries were good. The atmosphere gives off "under construction" vibes. It is a diner/cafe type vibe I suppose, but they have a lot going on. Corners seem to be holding some stuff like storage type stuff.“

The burrata was so delicious, the oysters were amazing, and I couldn’t get enough of my chicken kebabs! So flavorful and savory. Everything was plated beautifully, and I could eat 500 more of those dulce de leche donuts. Also, the service is SO sweet and charismatic. I spilled a coke all over the table like a dummy, and they were so nice about it hahaha

Parking: The valet was only $8, so I recommend that! The lot can get super full. There’s also parking security, so it feels safe for women at night!“

Their food is sooooo good and you can definitely taste the freshness. I tried shrimp several times with different sauces, they are just tasty and feel fresh in summer time. Especially when I use their a bite size of baklava to finish this meal, I felt so satisfied and truly want to recommend this place to all my colleagues.

Btw, I also appreciate they use plant-based packaging materials, including the lids, it’s a bonus for me.“

“The food here is so fresh and delicious! Their fresh baked pita bread is top notch! So pillowy soft. Prices are reasonable and the portions are plentiful too. The atmosphere is calm and hip with plenty of seating. Service here is cafeteria style so no need to tip a waiter. You can use the extra money that you save to buy some baklava for dessert, it's literally the best I've ever had!
