We were in town looking at a car and stumbled upon this place for dinner. Could not have been happier, reviews can be misleading but these were anything but.

Shanghai River is a neighborhood institution serving great food with a nice little bar, creating a nostalgic atmosphere. The menu offers tasty General Tso's, Orange chicken, Mongolian beef, fried rice, egg rolls, and cashew chicken, all cooked to perfection. The decor is cool and stepping inside feels like a time capsule. The friendly staff provides excellent customer service, making the dining experience enjoyable. Despite some low reviews, this place is highly recommended for delicious American Chinese style dishes. Expect to pay around $50-60 for a dinner for two. Overall, Shanghai River is a hidden gem worth visiting for a satisfying meal.
