“The xiao long bao is good but not amazing. Scallion beef was delicious, and so was the scallion pancake. Service was very good, nice sweet ladies.One thing to note, the server will ask for 20% tip. We didn’t mind giving that because 20% is becoming the new standard and the service was good. But this may rub people the wrong way.“
“I had a lovely experience at wanna bao! The service was great and the food was excellent!! I absolutely ADORE scallion pancakes and theirs did not disappoint! Their chili oil is delish and the crispy popcorn chicken thingies I ordered were so tasty with subtle heat and came plated so adorably! I do highly recommend dining here.“
“Good old fashion Chinese food. Very friendly team at this restaurant. The waitress works there part-time, was very hospital, and provided a list of recommended restaurants in Bellaire Blvd. We brought back leftovers and were very good the next day. We thought about going back. However, we wanted to try as many restaurants as we can during our visit. There were a lot of take out during Christmas Eve, though they were one of a few restaurants opened in Diho Square, east of Ranchester Drive.“
“I live a block away & never noticed this place b4 since it's hidden from i10. Found it on maps as I wanted Chinese but didn't want to drive to westheimer. There was no one there as it was NYE. The lady at the counter was very nice. I ordered the G Tso's Chicken w/ upgrade of shrimp fried rice & sm egg Drop Soup & requested green onions. I love that they include fried wontons w/ soup! The chicken was good & the sauce had a unique homemade flavor. Rice was moist and flavorful. I was very pleased with the egg Drop Soup. Some places have that nasty thick goupy canned stuff but here it's very delicious as if made in house! Fair priced & good portions. I will definitely be back & try a beef entree next. It's a small place but they have several tables & booths. I'd recommend giving it a try if you are hungry for Chinese. One of the few spots in this area. ?“
“All their options are affordable! I tried their crab and pork soup dumplings, pork soup dumplings, pan fried Bao, and chicken pot sticker. I really enjoyed the chicken pot sticker and crab and soup dumpling. Definitely a nice place to eat at with your friends and family.“
