Awesome too bad this place is closing down next Sunday I've been going here for the past 25 years
Sad knowing this place will be closing on March 30th. I have been coming here since I was a kid. Their quesadillas and Caldo de Res are my fave.

Taqueria Mexico, a corner Mexican restaurant in Houston with over 40 years of consistent recipes passed down. The asada or fajita quesadillas in corn are a must-try, and the pastor is better than many places hands down. Known for their flavorful caldo de res. Menudo is a hit with picky eaters. The loaded Mexican burrito is full and filling, with the option to add chips and salsa for an extra fee. Great atmosphere but service can be slow at times. Overall, excellent food with some room for improvement in service.
