I just wanted to share that these are the most disgusting tamales I have ever had. I had to spit out what was in my mouth. DO NOT BUY. I had the hatch green chile tamales.
These are sold at Aldi’s in North Georgia. I’m cooking them right now and they smell amazing.
It is a very fast dinner for me as a working mother .

I bought frozen pork Texas tamales at HEB. The package says “a dozen.” I opened the pack… 11 pork tamales! Is this the end of the world? No, but when a package says you’re buying 12 tamales and you get 11, you wonder about quality control or oversight of the manufacturing process. Btw, they have raised their prices from $6 to $8 per “dozen” in the last few years..
