“I visited this Buddhist-run restaurant over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised. Knowing it was operated by Buddhists gave me confidence that it would be vegetarian-friendly—and it absolutely was. Although the menu includes familiar terms like “chicken” and “fish,” rest assured: everything is plant-based, with no actual meat involved. The selection was solid, offering a good variety of dishes without overwhelming the menu. The food was flavorful and satisfying, and the staff were warm and welcoming throughout. This was my first visit, but definitely not my last—I’ll be coming back for more.“

“My parents and I visited Aga’s restaurant and were amazed at not only the quality of food but also the service. This is easily one of, if not the best meal we’ve ever eaten. I cannot recommend this place enough! Such a warm and welcoming environment! Everything about this restaurant was great. The place was clean and smelled good. The staff and greeter were very nice. Our waiter Khatija was awesome, the staff also worked as a team in bringing and cleaning up our food. The food was fresh and awesome. Great atmosphere with really nice people. The floor manager took his time to welcome my family and made it his main priority to adjust everything to our liking. “1/12/2025-This is a awesome vibe here. The ambiance is a nice bistro with some crazy art to keep you entertained but the music and lighting sets the mood. I would come back here again and again. I visited here without a reservation and was greeted when I first came in. The staff was nice friendly and attentive. Emma was awesome and recommended some dishes. The burger, half chicken, rice, and sesame butter cookie were awesome and the drinks. I had the voodoo drink. I highly recommended and you won't be disappointed.“

There aren’t too many Vegan restaurants in Houston. This one is with a Mediterranean/ Indian twist.

I love that they added the new sautéed spinach as a side- super delish. Matt, the GM, is so kind, attentive, and just has the best customer service! “After seeing on television that the restaurant won a James Beard award, I put it on my list of places to go. The expectations were pretty high, and our party was not disappointed. The medium spice level was perfect...flavorful with a kick. Drunken Noodles, Krapow Beef, and the Meatball Appetizer were our favorites. This restaurant was an hour drive for us and did not disappoint. It was worth the trip, and we will be back. The only two criticisms would be that their front door is darkened, and from outside, does not look like an actual entrance. And the noise level was a little high, so our server had to repeat herself a few times, but she didn't seem to mind and checked on us regularly to make sure we were enjoying ourselves“

Jellyfish is located on busy Ella Blvd in a very modest inconspicuous shopping strip - if you’re not looking, you’re going to miss it. Don’t miss out though!! This place has delicious food and you’ll experience excellent service. Everything was super fresh and prepared to perfection. I enjoyed the hibachi steak/chicken, grilled veggies & steamed rice. The meats were tender as were the veggies perfectly grilled & seasoned as well. We shared a roll of Sushi that was masterfully prepared by cooks that know how to do it. The restaurant is simple inside but kept very clean. We had no problem with parking. Restrooms very clean. We will return and recommend Jellyfish to others for fresh authentic Japanese cuisine.“

“My first visit to MF Sushi was in 2015, and my latest visit 11 years later was just as impressive as the first. We sat at the sushi bar to change up the pace and catch the head sushi chef working his art. Truly amazing.

This is a place you come to for the quality of the fish. We had 2 orders of the avocado balls with spicy tuna, so good. Chutoro and ocean trout sashimi, it was so tender and the taste so uniquely fresh. We tried the chef’s deluxe nigiri, none of the cuts disappointed. The hamachi appetizer was also very good. Our last dish was the lobster Osaka box, my favorite roll in the whole wide world! Still as satisfying as the first time I had it.

It’s a sushi restaurant with style and atmosphere, a great date night spot. 100% recommended, over and over again.“

“We have gone to Doris many times. Tonight was a curiously off night for service. Our server was too absent. We once thought about sending a get well card. I had to ask to order wine after the wine list was taken away without taking our order. Then the completely wrong wine was brought, even after I spelled out the wine,Tor. Food was great. I think it was an off night. We will still frequent Doris. It has always provided innovation and excellence in their food experience.“
