We were recommended Warrens by our Segway guide and it did not disappoint. Mike the barman was outstanding and his knowledge of drinks was excellent. We will definitely visit anytime we visit Houston it will be our go to bar. Regulars also made us feel very welcome. Highly highly recommend a visit.
My wife and I come into downtown Houston once a month or so for the Alley Theatre, Jones Hall, etc. we enjoy a drink before the shows and Warren's Inn is our go-to spot.This local's bar definitely has the patina of a genuine dive bar. Having said that, we have always been warmly greeted and professionally served.It is a basic bar, with all of the necessary beers and liquors to get the job done.
