I hope it's not true this place is permanently closed. Thanks to all the staff that cooked us up some yummy food for 25 years. We lived in the loop then moved to Cypress but still drove in to eat here. Me, my parents and my sister are going to miss this place so much. I grew up eating at this buffet. Met family and friends here throughout the years. I remember Lucy, the lady that retired, and the lady who poured tea and brought us the check. Good memories of Yank Sing.
Found out some sad news today from their postman sitting in front of the restaurant. After 25 years, Yank Sing is down from 10 to 1 location, and it is in Killeen. This location is closed. If the owner is reading this, THANK YOU! for all the wonderful food my family and I have enjoyed here for over the last 20 years. This was one of the best Chinese buffets ever! I moved here from Killeen, where I originally got hooked on Yank Sing, and was thrilled to find one here in Houston. Now I find out they're closing and I'm heartbroken, as are my friends that I introduced to the place. Thank you to the family of this great restaurant for years of amazing food!
