“We stopped in at Torchy’s Tacos and decided to sit at the bar, and I’m so glad we did! Our bartender, Victoria, was absolutely fantastic—friendly, attentive, and just fun to chat with. She made us feel welcome right away and had great recommendations.

I went with the Peg Leg (beer with a shot of tequila) and their legendary queso—both were spot-on. The queso was rich, creamy, and loaded with flavor, definitely worth the hype. My wife had a margarita with a tajín rim, and it was perfectly balanced with just the right kick from the tajín.

The vibe at the bar was lively but relaxed, and Victoria made sure our drinks were never empty. Overall, great food, great drinks, and stellar service. We’ll definitely be back!“

“We came all the way from Canada for some Halal BBQ and we did not leave disappointed. The owner was amazing and helpful us pick out the meat! We got the Dino Ribs and the Birria Tacos which were both amazing! I honest have never tasted anything like this! I honestly think I will be coming back to Dallas specifically for the Dino ribs!

“Another taco shop in the strip mall and their food surprisingly decent. Got their taco plate, meats ate tasty but their rice and bean ate not the best. It also comes with a potato(?!). Vegetarian options: Plenty of fresh fruit and natural juices. During the winter months they have atole de nuez which is a creamy drink with cinnamon and nuts mixed in.

“Spent $11+change for a small smothered burrito combo (includes chips, salsa & drink). Opted for spanish rice, black beans, grilled onions & green peppers, carnitas, jalapenos, pico de gallo (can also get cheese, sour cream, guac, +more), wrapped in white warmed tortilla, smothered in queso & green salsa. It was delicious. The jalapenos had a good kick to them.

Staff was welcoming and v friendly. As I sat there eating my lunch, I could hear Usuals ordering their food talking to staff about weekend plans and their last time in, etc.

“A true hole in the wall dining experience! It’s no frills, you order and you eat.The food was DELICOUS. We got the taco plate for $11. I got pastor, Barbacoa, and chicharron. Each taco was on point and delicious.Water does come in a bottle though which isn’t a big deal for me. They also have Agua frescas available.The green sauce was my favorite.“

“SO GOOD! Their barbacoa nachos are the best food I've had all month. I got it with all the toppings, didn't exclude anything, and it was perfect. Ratios were just right, the barbacoa was shredded ideally, sauces were great... I can't imagine there's a better food place in this mall, and I felt like I actually got a good amount of protein from the barbacoa. “We googled this place trying to find somewhere to have a quick bite when we were in the area. It's not really located near anything and the area is a little sketchy but when we read the reviews we knew we had to give it a try. We trusted the reviews and went ahead and stopped by. We were very pleased with the service and the food was delicious. The area is not that large inside but we were a group of around 10 people and they accommodated us with no problem. It was not busy during the time that we went. They had music playing and a TV on. They have a very simple setup inside the dining area. Looks like you can order to go as well. I would definitely recommend this place for a quick bite.“
