“We stopped in Salado when we were heading to Austin. My wife has a favorite store she likes to stop at. While she was shopping, I was looking for a place to eat. Cathy's Boardwalk was one of the options for eating lunch, and since the reviews were favorable, we decided to eat there. I had the grilled chicken plate, and my wife had the chopped steak plate. The chicken appeared to be a little overcooked as it wasn't real tender. My wife said she loved hers.“

“I had the buffalo wrap with fries and it was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The customer service was outstanding. It was a hot August day so I waited in my car, and they even brought my food right to my window!

“Took my parents to this location yesterday for their first Culver’s trip. I frequently ate at the Culver’s on Braker Ln in Austin when I lived here, but I now live in Seattle, and the closest Culver’s is an 8-hour drive. I therefore was hellbent on getting some Culver’s while I was here on my trip. This particular Culver’s is apparently brand new, and my parents live in nearby Sun City, so this worked out well. My parents enjoyed the food as much as I did/do, but it was so busy that I’m not sure they’ll go back. My plan is to highlight the drive-thru option in conversation. Please, Culver’s, open a Seattle-area location!“

“So so grateful to have the Stagecoach in Salado! Such a solid option for lunch and dinner. Also recently tried for brunch which was nice too. Faves of ours are the chicken fried chicken and club, but we’ll usually try whatever dessert they have too and have never been disappointed!“

“Good beer selection and the pizza is good. Great ambiance. But I have to warn you, I have not had a burger that bad since school cafeteria burgers when I was a kid. Tough justifying $11 for one of the worst burgers I’ve ever had. Same for my wife.“

“Wonderful home cooking in a friendly cozy atmosphere! I had the Big Daddy Mac & Cheese. OMG-delish! Homemade creamed corn with the Mac n cheese and real barbecued brisket on top. It doesn’t get any better! Large portion too-I brought home at least 1/3 for lunch tomorrow. Don’t hesitate to give them a try!“
