“I had a bean and bacon taco, chorizo and bean taco and my niece had the American plate, which had two giant pancakes.
This is my first time here. Found restaurant online.
Everything tasted good. Except the price for the taco. It was expensive. Anywhere from $3.50 to $4.50 per taco. The price per taco depends also on what you have in it.
The atmosphere was casual. Not crowded and loud. The customer service was good. It did take a while to get our food. But the food was hot and they DO have homemade tortillas.
I recommend Pitayo. Go check them out.“

“The waitress we had was extraordinary. She treated us as family, and the others there and who came in after. Had me thinking she might own this part of the franchise, as much care as if she had personal stakes in it. What a wonderful heart Cheryl has.“
“The owner KD Hill is the sweetest person in Salado. She has wonderful employees, great beer, clean facilities and always have wonderful entertainment. There are so many things I could say. Just don't want you to read for an hour.“

“Found this place by accident when I took a side by accident. Wife and tried the blackened tilapia and grilled turkey and cheese sandwich. Both were very good and the waitress was very friendly. Definitely will go again when passing through Salado.“
“I placed my wine order online, drove 3 1/2 hours to the winery, and my order was ready and waiting for me when I got there. Staff was VERY friendly, and my bag even had a personal thank you note attached to it. The verdict is still out on the taste of the wine, but I'll need to wait until I get back home to open it. 😉“

“Nice dining experience here with one big caveat…the first room dining area is not conducive to having a quiet or normal conversation. Met Lauren who is the manager there, very sweet lady and although we were a walk-in got us a table as they were a bit busy. Our server Lindsey got us set up with beverages and we reviewed the menu. I saw some of the appetizers go by so decided not to start there as they were huge. We ordered the Chicken Marsala and the Texas Pork Chop with add-on side salads. I’m not normally a fan of Marsala with mashed potatoes BUT this dish was delicious and the potatoes were a perfect accompaniment. The chicken nicely breaded and tender while the Marsala sauce was delicious with just the right amount of sweetness and flavor. The pork chop was grilled and charred perfectly and the bacon jelly was “WOW” when combined with the chop. Really good food, a bit higher in the price range (dinner + 1 drink/1 beer for two $100), and good service in a converted old home. Why not 5 Stars…service was a bit disjointed and slow, loud dining area, bringing out my daughters dish with mashed potatoes (pork chop dish) when we discussed over and over again gluten and dairy dietary issues and said no mashed potatoes.“

“My family had a Pepsi pizza, calzone, and two different salads. We all very much enjoyed the food. Everything was very tasty and great quality. The Cesar salad has tiny little garlic knots instead of croutons; very creative and delicious! We order pizza here from time to time it always comes out fantastic.“
“Beautiful! Fun! Great tasting wine. Excellent service! Attentive staff. I watched the chef's in the restaurant work so seamlessly together as it seems intimidating for the guests to see everything happening there very professional and efficient! The rooms are beautiful and well kept! The grounds are very well maintained. It's HONESTLY my favorite place to be. LITERALLY my home away from home ?“

“A nice spot for lunch in Georgetown. We had a big group of 17 and the staff were happy to accommodate us : moving tables and chairs, etc. the food was good - what you’d expect for a diner. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in the area. Great prices too.“

“Been missing good German food after living there over 7 years. This one is great. The only drawback was the smoked gouda on spaetzle. In Rhineland Pfalz region where we lived the cheese was Le Gyuere mixed with Swiss or one they called Spaetzle cheese. Asked a German friend who makes this dish every week and she agreed, gouda is too strong. We were disappointed in this dish but the rest was just as we dreamed about. The guys were happy to find fav Bier too. The bread! The bread! We'll be back.“
