Where in the world would you expect to find exceptional food and service on a holiday! Walburg German Restaurant delivers both. Being the 4th of July Walburg offered a lunch menu, but still had a terrific selection of German beers! The service was unbelievably friendly, helpful, and efficient! We drove 200 miles expecting great food and we were definitely not disappointed! Best homemade bratwurst, and jaegerschnitzel in years! The deserts were equally great!
Excellent schnitzel Amazed at the size the home fries, potatoes remind me of my mother's cucumber salad was delicious as well and we took the black forest cake home. Because we were so full, we couldn't finish eating what we had. That was exceptional as well, our waitress was very welcoming, made me feel like she was part of my family. I enjoyed her efficiency and kindness and helpfulness. Seeing all the artifacts from Germany made homesick.
