The portobello goat cheese hot sandwich was divine, the fresh house salad with the lemon vinaigrette was refreshing, and the cortado was well brewed and the foam was well done. My best friend had the same sandwich with the soup of the day, vegetable and chickpea, and she said it was good and savory. Nick, our server, was attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere is homey and fun with lemonade stand summer vibes. If I still lived in the area, I’d come here often to try the rest of the food on the menu!“

“Went there couple of weeks ago. The okra is absolutely amazing and the chicken sandwich is always onpoint.

We went to one of our favorite and go-to spots on Friday for date night. We had the luxury of getting a Californian transplant Maddy with the beginnings of a very good Texas twang! She was an excellent waitress, great personality, her energy and timing of stops were near excellent.

She was very pleasant while I debated between delectable not good for me southern comfort food and healthy, healthy won out. I had the salmon with baked sweet potato and finished with a not on the menu but requested fruit cup (strawberrys, mandarin oranges and grapes) which was a great finish. The salmon was cooked just right and the sweet potato topped with butter and brown sugar was my unhealthy tease.

“I recommend it only for to go. Dining in is weird. My Google review: It used to be a regular restaurant where staff would come take your order and deliver your food to your table on plate. Now you order your food at the counter and they bring your food to you in a plastic to go container. You have to pick up your own PLASTIC forks and napkins, and take them back to the table. The boxes they have chosen to put them in are incredibly difficult to open. The food is still really good but we will not be dining in the restaurant anymore. We might still get something to go but not near as often as we had been dining on site. Sad.“

I went in to pick up my order. Just an order of steamed dumplings. That was it. While I was waiting a polite young man asked me if there was anything else I wanted. Surprisingly I said some sweet tea if they had it. Not only did he pack up the tea for me but he put it in one of those plastic containers they usually use for soup. A large one. As if that wasn’t enough he went out of his way to cut a hole in the lid and put a straw in it for me! I was shocked and amazed that this nice young man had extended himself to go out of his way to do this. People just don’t think to go the extra mile anymore but Joseph did and as a result they have a loyal customer in me for good. Well done Ruby Garden. You guys have a gem of an employee. I really like all the choices for toppings, but it's usually better if you order in the store so you can watch it being made and ask them to add a little more or whatever. Salads are also good option. The MOD size is more than enough for a meal. Staff is generally friendly and helpful.“

“I ordered the triple dipper. The 3 items I chose were the mozzarella sticks, boneless buffalo wings and egg rolls. The appetizer came with ranch and marinara sauce. It took longer than usual to get the food. When it did come I noticed the eggs rolls were much smaller than usual and my boneless buffalo wings were cold. Our waitress was quick to fix the issue with the wings. The manager brought out a fresh batch. My waitress was fantastic but the food was mid. Seems like the portions are getting smaller and the price is getting higher.“
