“I had the chicken salad, and my sister had the BLT. Both were amazing! I love that they have so many gluten-free options. I was there with several friends, and everyone LOVED their meals! Also, the sweet young man serving us was amazing. He put up well with some silly old ladies, even though we teased him so badly. He took it well and did a great job! The place is adorable, too. I loved how cozy it was. We sat upstairs, and it felt like we had our own room. I will definitely go back.”

“Monument Cafe is a breakfast gem, despite the parking challenges! Their Avocado Toast is a true delight, creamy avocado on toasted bread, it's simple yet packed with flavor. Their Turkey Bacon Sandwich is a savory treat, with juicy turkey and crispy bacon that never disappoints. Don't let the parking situation deter you – the incredible food and friendly service make it all worthwhile!Parking: The main entrance to the parking is currently blocked due to construction. That makes it a bit difficult for new patrons like me when visiting for the first time, especially if Google maps is no updated.”

“We love this place! It has a great selection of food. And let me tell you, if you go away from this place hungry, its your fault. The servings are plentiful. When we go there we always look for our favorite waitress Lacy, she always greets us with a smile, and always knows just how we like our food and condiments to compliment our dinner. The food is always hot and delicious when it comes out of the kitchen. And the fried pickles with home made ranch dressing are to die for. This is a must if your visiting Georgetown.”

“First visit! Yeah! The strong recommendations were on point! We tried a wrap and a plate. Both Yummy - the beef, lamb and chicken were so tasty. The saffron rice was tender and flavorful and the falafels were really good. The wrap was also really tasty and glad the fire sauce was left off. The wrapper vs traditional pita was great. Got a tiny piece of baklava which was also yummy and just enough to take off the tartness of the feta. We must give a big thumbs up to the staff person at the register. He is an employee that every owner wants. Very nice and helpful for two brand new foodies! Looking forward to going back and trying something else! Recommend!!”

“What a beautiful concept. Great space, good labor, and a sweet atmosphere. I saw this place and wanted to visit months ago. Just today, I had the chance. I had breakfast, the parfait with the Big biscuit with jam and an Americano. I bought a pair of eco-friendly shades, and visited the "what looks like" a green house, but it's just the extension of the shopping area where I bought my dear friend a gift. They have opportunities to volunteer and spread the world. It's important to support local businesses but also get involved in the community and give your time for something that brings love and kindness to others. I'm glad I know about this place. Thank you for opening businesses like this!”

“Hidden Gem Coffee Shop in GeorgetownI love this hidden gem coffee shop in the Georgetown area. The staff is very friendly. When I told them I was new to the coffee scene, they explained the different coffees and helped me choose one. They have plenty of outdoor seating, and there's a great atmosphere for studying or working on creative projects. I enjoyed the latte and the lemon cupcake, and I'll definitely be back again.”

“The food was excellent. In all candor, based on location and price the food should be excellent. Many fun choices but not too many to be overwhelming. The cafe is comfortable and relaxed but upscale. An interesting selection of mixed drinks and what seemed an updated wine list and improved.”

“Love the folks at Alicias. Always very friendly and they have excellent breakfast tacos! Just had beef fajita plate and it was awsome!!See you guys again soon! Thank you for serving the community!”
“Always love stopping by here to pick up our wine club allocations. For wine club members, there's a patio for when the weather is nice, and an upstairs room when it's not. We've come by ourselves, and brought friends, and it's always a good experience. It's so nice to be able to choose from all the Heath Family wines; we've always loved the Grape Creek Viognier, but I've also become a fan of some of the IV reds.”

“Food was great except for the Verde enchiladas. The sauce was...not quite right(?). I'm told it must have been an anomaly as it is usually very good. Everything else was excellent!”

“I ate here today for the first time and had a mushroom quesadilla. It tasted great. My friend had the shrimp taco combo. It looked great and he said it was great. I would give 5 stars but they gave me very cheap and flimsy plastic silverware. I was trying to cut the quesadilla and it was a challenge and part of the fork even broke. Then I had to fish through the food to find the small piece of plastic. My suggestion would be to get real silverware or at least some sturdy plastic silverware.”

“Great little roadhouse. Stopped for a late supper. Enjoyed the homemade flavors of meatloaf, chicken, and appetizer Jalapeño strips deep fried with fries. All the dishes were very good and the service as great. It gets a little loud in the main room, but we had a great meal.”

“It's incredibly difficult to find good Italian food outside of New Jersey. Even New York doesn't beat it. But here in Texas, this is a fantastic spot. I love all their pasta dishes. Everything I've had here is good. The mozzarella sticks are great too. It's got an older feel to it, and it just feels right. The waiters and waitresses are great too. Just make sure you reserve a table ahead of time. Walk-ins are incredibly difficult to get, as this spot is popular. Well worth it though!”

“This place has delicious pizza cooked perfectly, but the best thing about this place was the wings. These were the very best hot wings I've ever had anywhere.”

“Lulu’s Pie shoppe offers a dazzling array of baked treats, both sweet and savory. The Focaccia Bread is a magnificent mashup of delicately baked bread, sauce, cheese and in my fortunate case, pepperoni. This delightful mashup of amazing flavors pleases both the palate and the olfactory; it’s an exotic delicacy is a weapons-grade explosion of both zingy and tangy! Do your mouth a favor and check out Lulu’s on the Square. Satisfaction guaranteed in spades!”

“Starbucks is closed for remodeling through to April 15th- and I found this little gem just down the street! All I can say is this small business owner better hire some more staff because I really think they’re going to be flooded with business soon! Starbucks is such a super chain they’ve just kind of taken over the world of coffee, but I just enjoyedthis little drive-through place so much! Extremely delicious homemade breakfast taco! You ain’t gonna get nothing like that at that super chain Starbucks!”

“Customer service at galaxy bakery is top notch!I can’t remember the gentleman’s name, however he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I had a difficult time figuring out how to do a strawberry mascarpone cake for my wedding. He took the time to explain in detail the ways I could do my cake. His knowledge and confidence in his work made me feel secure in my choices. He was extremely friendly and patient with me. I can’t wait to see and try my wedding cake. Thank you for outstanding service. I look forward to being a repeat customer.”

“The food was ok but a bit too salty. I have high standards for Mexican food in the Austin area so I would probably only come back to try their tamales, but I wouldn’t go for the plates/dishes since there are so many great options around. The staff is kind and helpful even though they were really busy getting out orders for the holidays.”

“The Vegan Roll was delicious, but it was the only thing marked vegan on the menu. They could mark their menu better and offer more options to people who avoid animal products. When asked to make a vegan option for the tofu dish, they obliged.”

“Excellent service and delicious food. Was not expecting the sushi boat, that was really fun! They make an excellent spider roll, and despite being a little spicy the Red Devil roll was surprisingly nuanced. On the one hand, the small venue is low key and family friendly, but this food feels fancier than the current venue. Still, good value for the cost if you want a relaxed date or low key special occasion with super tasty, world class sushi!Kid-friendliness: Seriously, kids will get a kick out of the giant sushi boat! And Tempura makes vegetables tasty for any palet.”

“One amazing place for breakfast, we drove over 45 min to try their breakfast buffet and it did not disappoint. Will definitely be back for more and to try the lunch foods!”

“First time there with friends. Wanted us to try one of their favorite places to eat. Food was very good and the lunch prices are very fair. Will definitely return. The only thing I saw that is over priced, compared to other Mexican Food places we eat, is the Margarita prices. Most places are $6.95 for a small. I will not pay over that because the food is a much better deal for the money. Domestic beer below $5 is very fair.”

“Took my son to celebrate his 15 year birthday.Sushi is well made but very expensive. $280 (not including tip) for a family of 4 with 1 beer. Maybe I will be back once a year… about $24-$28 per roll!If money is not a problem, then yes, I would recommend…”
“I am giving Barking Armadillo a 5 Star rating because the beer, staff, and atmosphere was good. I only have one complaint. They only serve the beer in 8 ounce cups. Against my "beer drinking ethics". Nice place but we won't be back.”
