“Having lived a long time in Germany, I’ve often been disappointed by German restaurants in the states which tend to really bastardise German food and go really hard on Bavaria specifically, but I was pleasantly surprised by Walburg. While they offer some American/Southern food at their buffet like catfish and macaroni and cheese (which is tasty!), they also offer many authentic German staples that I’d forgotten I’d missed like cucumber salad and Sauerbraten. I’d definitely come back especially for the beer garden. The only thing I found here was a miss was the Bienenstich for dessert, whose filling I always remember being fluffy/airy but at Walburg rather was like a custard/pudding, but this may come down to just different variations in how to make it.“

“This is a very nice place. It's 2 stories you have a seating inside and outside outside is nice depending on the weather cooperating, service was great atmosphere was fantastic, food was great, i spent like $40 on pie. With a $15 tip just for the pie. And then I got some food to go. Also, we ate there. The only thing I have negative to say about this place is the sourdough toast that I got to go and the croissants. They did not include the jam or jelly. If you want to call it, but it was delicious when I was eating it there, those two things made me very upset. Since I was not from the area, I was just driving through to Austin and my wife said, hey, let's go here. I said, okay, it looks great. Let's try it. It was great except for those two things. I didn't receive my condiments. I was headed back to Dallas after the Austin trip. So I stuck all that in the fridge and we checked it today Sunday.“

“I have eaten there several times. Never a complaint. Once the owner sat with me to show how to eat Greek food. The thought was appreciated but I actually spent time in Athens,and got hooked on Greek there. Truly a taste of Greece.“

“I went to Marisol’s and OMG! Food is so authentic. They received us with free tortilla chips and 2 delicious sauces. I had a pastor taco with pineapple and a barbacoa taco as well. My hubby had a chimichanga. Lorena our server was so friendly. She made sure we had all we need. Highly recommended!“

“This was my first time visiting Ike’s Love & Sandwiches, and I was thoroughly impressed. The service was excellent, and the menu offers an incredible variety of sandwiches and drinks to choose from. While we aren't in Georgetown often, this will definitely be one of our choices for lunch whenever we are back in town. Highly recommended!“

“This bakery is in a historic home, nestled within the neighborhood. I'm giving them five stars because I came in, very last minute, to place a cupcake order for my two year olds party that was occurring the next day. Knowing I was asking them to endure an inconvenience, the lady that helped took my order with a smile. I asked for chocolate and confetti flavored cupcakes, with the color pink incorporated and sprinkles. I was trying not to be picky at all. When I picked up the cupcakes the next day, everyone was not only impressed with the presentation but the taste. The taste was decadent, rich, and buttery. I will definitely order from them again.“

“I went here for the first time this past Saturday when visiting my daughter for parents weekend. I had the best lemon pepper chicken wings I have ever had! The pizza slice was huge and delicious. Even better we had the most attentive and helpful waitress ever…I believe her name was Bella. She was the best!“

“Miracle, our server was amazing, professional, knowledgeable, polite, friendly and welcoming. My husband ordered the Calabrian steak and shrimp bucatini. Compared to the picture on the menu and what he received was different. Some of the steak was a little chewy, didn't ask for another one or something different because of plans after dinner and we did not have time to wait.The other food we ordered was pretty good.“

“I just want to give a huge shout out to The Yard milkshake bar in Georgetown. I ordered a big ol ice cream and I didn’t read the description correctly. It was on a slide show so I tried to read it like 3 times to make sure. Well I didn’t like it. I was just going to just throw it away and not say anything but the manager came by and asked how come I didn’t eat it and I told her. Well she ended up bringing me a whole other type of ice cream that I actually liked to make sure I had a good experience there! That’s what you call GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
