“Such an exciting place to have in a small town atmosphere. The owner and his family have gone to great lengths to make this a fun atmosphere with games and comfortable seating. The drinks are out of this world. So many amazing flavors and adaptations which fit any taste or interest. It’s been a great addition to our town. You can order drinks with or without sugar, protein enhanced and even frozen fruit if someone prefers. The ramen noodles are one of those menu items you think wouldn’t mix but are fun and filling, especially when you’re on the go.“

“We were looking to try something new. La Mesa was pretty good. Lindsey is a great waitress and offered great recommendations. The food style reminded me a lot of Frijoles, but that's fine. The menu was smaller, but they offered all the staples. We split the enchilada trio with borracho beans. The beef enchilada in green sauce was our favorite. The atmosphere/dining experience was great. Love how spacious and comfortable everything is. 8 out of 10 Definitely will consider coming out here again next time we are in Joshua.“

“Where do I start? The cookies are unbelievable! So far, everything I’ve tried has been amazing. My very favorite is the Oreo Cookie! Tastes just like an Oreo. The big cookies are huge. I first bought the box of 4 big cookies. The box was 17” long! Be sure to buy the cookie cutter too. When you cut the big cookie, a fourth of it is the size of a regular cookie! Honest! In fact, I’m headed there today!“

“After driving by this place numerous times, my wife and I decided to finally get some food here. I had the enchiladas and she had California burrito. Let me just say that this California burrito rivals anything you will find in DFW. Including Bad Ass Burritos in Saginaw. The enchiladas were average to be honest. So we're the tamales but really sets this food off is the salsa bar. All the sauces are made in house and above average. The service was great. Friendly and we got our food fast. I recommend getting the food to go. The inside was warm but not unbearable. There isn't much of a dining room either. Pretty simple lay out. All in all not bad. Better then average but still not the best of the best. I recommend this lace for a fast place to grab some good Mexican food on the go.“

“Fresh flour tortillas straight off the comal as they should be with great taste and size. Carne guisada was delicious and reminded me of home. Refried beans seasoned just right, rice was delightful. Got some to go for family who also loved the food. Drove here because of the flour tortillas and staying for the whole package. Definitely coming back.“

Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. The food was served fairly quickly and it was very hot and delicious.
We hadn't been here in several years but its nice to see that the quality and portions are still good and the price point was also good.

“My kids and I always love getting boba, but recently we got ramen also and it was delicious!! We came in just before closing and Zachary let us order ramen with cheer despite the fact the prep would go well past closing. The ramen was prepared with care and pride and enjoyed immensely.“

I love it so much that I had 2 glasses & I never do that anywhere!! The French toast was amazing!! The chicken & waffles was a huge hit as well !! I will b back for sure ! We had a fantastic experience at Barrera's! The bartender was friendly, attentive, and made some of the best margaritas and carajillos we've had in a long time. Even during a busy shift, service was quick and professional, and they made everyone at the bar feel welcome. Great drinks, great attitude, and excellent customer service. We'll definitely be back for the drinks and the outstanding hospitality!“

“I have been going to house of pho for multiple years now and I love it. I always get the brisket pho and tofu spring rolls and it is always good. I enjoy the service it is always friendly and fast. The ambiance is clean, calm, and quiet.“

“We booked the Holiday Inn Express in Burleson, Texas in December so that we could stay overnight following a concert in June. A problem occurred early on when the room reservation was canceled due to the credit card on file being deactivated. While I understand that may be policy, a simple fix would be sending an email to the customer prior to an abrupt cancelation. With quite a bit of effort, that was resolved. Unfortunately, the concert was postponed twice on short notice, but we were allowed to move the reservation both times to accommodate the new date, which we appreciated.

As far as the amenities go, this Holiday Inn is above average. The room was clean, the pull-out bed sufficient, and the air conditioner was cold. The breakfast offering was a cut above some others with a decent selection. The front desk workers were pleasant to work with and there was no wait to check in or check out. The location is reasonably convenient at about 10 minutes from downtown Fort Worth. If you are coming from the North, however, you will have to traverse quite a bit of freeway with toll charges.“
