“Went to Smokin' Oak Bar and Grill recently for a birthday party We sat on the patio and even though others were seated at tables around us, it seemed so peaceful. It overlooks a heavily wooded area of the Champions Circle Golf Course. We had excellent service. Our servers name was Autumn and it was obvious that she had been there a while. She knew the menu very well even though we had lots of picky eaters with us with questions. With the patio almost full, she still gave us the right amount of attention. She gave us some recommendations and I got the Brisket Baked Potato and my husband got the Champions Burger. They were both just as she described and we will be back for more. One recommendation that I have would be for the patio area to have some live music when the weather permits. It just seems a good fit for the calming atmosphere.“

“OK, here's the deal. Jason's deli always delivers but the management really makes that happen so Alicia and she's in charge of even catering management. She is a queen bee up there and nothing but respect. She is a great manager. She's done an excellent job for us we just went there to visit and she totally took care of everything in a way. That's not normal but so respected thank you Alicia.“

Stacy and the manager on shift were absolutely amazing! They were both so attentive and welcoming that I almost felt like I was the only guest in the restaurant. “Eat at this location nearly every other Friday, and it’s usually very fast, friendly and accurate. However, Friday the 10th, this was not the case. As I didn’t recognize more than two folks, I figure there are a bunch of new hires. Large fries were less than half-full, 5-count nuggets had two that were simply bread & didn’t get the requested sauces. Since we were a dine-in customer, the issues were resolved quickly and efficiently… but had I been a drive-thru order, I might not return. Luckily, I’m sure it was a fluke, and I know they usually do a lot better, so I’ll be back. This is simply a heads up for the managers that y’all weren’t on your game today. 2/10/2023 @ 1145.“

“We ordered delivery on the Portillo's app, and the order was assigned to an Uber Eats delivery driver. However, the driver marked it as delivered, with no picture, and we hadn't received anything.

We were not able to get in touch with Uber Eats, so we called the store directly, and we spoke with a nice young man named Andre. He immediately jumped into action, was genuinely concerned and wanted to help, so he involved the General Manager, Ron.

Ron and Andre worked diligently to remedy the situation. Andre reassured us that they would fix this, while Ron went above and beyond to contact Uber Eats to procure a new driver.

We spoke with Ron and he told us that he's making everything new and fresh for us, and a new driver will deliver it to us soon.

He was very apologetic and incredibly personable. We could tell that he cares very much about the customer experience, and it showed.

He even threw in two free slices of cake with a handwritten note for us, which was such an incredible gesture.

And then, as if that weren't enough, Andre called me the following day, saying that he and Ron wanted to check in with us to make sure we received everything accordingly.

Truly ABOVE AND BEYOND customer service. I haven't experienced anything like this in a very, very, very long time.

Both Ron and Andre are truly invaluable assets to Portillo's, promoting the Portillo's brand in the best way possible. Portillo's already has excellent food, but pairing that with superior customer service provides for an unforgettable experience, and this location has earned themselves some lifetime loyal customers AND promoters.

“Food was great (minus the fact that a Greek salad had no feta) but service/timing needs work. Curbside delivery is apparently last priority as I sat for over 30 minutes and had to go in....only to wait even longer.“
