“The people that take your order are very friendly and treat you like family We have gone to the 9ers when it first open It was my husband Bob favorite place. Saturday we celebated are 56th anniversary with my neighbors. My husband pass away 9 months ago. He loved this place and the food.“

“I’d rather not have the news on while trying to enjoy my lunch. Counter service was quick and easy. Kids meal gets plenty of fries so don’t waste your money ordering your own. The burgers are delicious and juicy. One of the best strawberry shakes I’ve ever had! Bill’s burger with the bacon and jalapeños is the way to go.

There should be more service where someone comes to check on your table or take plates away that you are done with. There was no trash can available that we could see in the dining area. I had to physically hand trash over to someone behind the counter. Other than that the food is good, pricy but tasty. The cheese on our burgers was not melted when the burgers came out.

Parking: Parking spaces are very tight. Hard to get in and out of your vehicle.

“I recommend you ask for (Gus) as your server at Pearl and Vine as he is the very best! He started out at Tavern on the Green in NYC and worked for 25 years at the local Lynn's steakhouse in Houston. He is ultra knowledgeable and super nice. He only works on Wed, Thurs & Friday but well worth having him as your preferred grand server. Thank you Gus for your stealer service as always kind sir!
