“The owners are so welcoming and since our first visit they remember us everytime we come in. The food is always delicious, we have never had anything that wasn't great. Love this restaurant! A must try in Katy / Energy Corridor Korean fried chicken, garlic shrimp, marinated galbi, grilled zucchini. And the very best is the chocolate concord cake!!!“

“I accidentally discovered Tasty Ko, a restaurant specializing in Korean cuisine. I was impressed by the spacious interior and the dining areas that ensure privacy for guests. The elderly Korean owners are very friendly, and the food was served quite quickly. I ordered the following dishes: Dakbal (spicy stir-fried chicken feet), Gamjatang, Cheese Buldak, and Bulgogi. The food was delicious and definitely worth trying.“

“Really fun and unique ice cream place! I love the Taiyaki that you get with the ice cream, and you can choose red bean as a filling, which is a favorite of mine. Ice cream is soft serve and not too sweet, which anyone who likes Asian desserts will appreciate. I wish they had more ice cream flavors, but they do rotate out. Great addition to Katy Asia town!“

“Cafeteria style eatery in HMART but my family loves this place. The quality and consistency of their donkatsu (we have had the cheese, the curry, the regular) are always perfect over rice. They also always give us more curry or donkatsu sauce if we go back and ask for more. The employees at Donkey Yaki are always prepping or cleaning or aware of customers walking up. Very very attentive. It’s also super cold on this side of the eatery, so bring a sweatshirts. Oh, you can sub fries for their salad for free and we always do this. We come here about twice a month.

It’s busy on Saturdays and finding parking can be a bit difficult as the entire KATY Asian town parking lot seems filled, so be patient.“

“We got the carnivore pizza with mozzarella stuffed crust and a half order of fried chicken. My boyfriend (usually doesn’t care for crust), absolutely devoured the stuffed crust pizza. The dough was super soft and the cheese complimented the pizza well. The fried chicken was super crispy and juicy. Will definitely come back to try the other sauce flavors :)“

“When I tell you this establishment has some of the best tasting Korean chicken in America, I mean it. This place never fails to have the crispiest, and most flavorful chicken and it is addicting!! Their spicy galbi wings and kimchi fried rice are always my go-to as a frequent customer, and it is always filling and delicious. Great and quick service and overall great quality!“

“It is an excellent place to go for Korean food. We have eaten here many times. The restaurant is inside the 99 Ranch Supermarket food court area, which is quite convenient as one can grocery shop and then have lunch or dinner here. We had two dishes - the spicy beef soup and the seafood noodle soup, with side dishes of kimchi, pickled daikon, and broccoli. Both soups were quite delicious, especially the seafood soup with a delicate flavor.“

“I loved this little shop! I have never had anything like this before. We got the 5 piece mega box and elote. It was really nice to try out all the options just to see what I like! I really liked the two hands dog! It was my favorite. Then I enjoyed the potato dog. It was like crunchy French fries on the outside. They were bothe filled with half mozzarella and half beef sausage. I think I enjoyed the part with cheese the most. I feel it would be better if the cheese and sausage ran all the way thru the corn dog. The breading was delish! I had half of each and was totally full! The elite seemed like a sweet spicy mix. Maybe a honey sriracha? Not sure. But was very good. The corn was nice and sweet.
Took about 10 min for them to prepare our order fresh. Only 2 people working there so it took a few minutes.
I feel the young girl taking our order could have helped us a little more with suggestions. We were struggling a bit with what to order. But overall I would highly recommend!“
