“The owners are so welcoming and since our first visit they remember us everytime we come in. The food is always delicious, we have never had anything that wasn't great. Love this restaurant! A must try in Katy / Energy Corridor Korean fried chicken, garlic shrimp, marinated galbi, grilled zucchini. And the very best is the chocolate concord cake!!!“

“I accidentally discovered Tasty Ko, a restaurant specializing in Korean cuisine. I was impressed by the spacious interior and the dining areas that ensure privacy for guests. The elderly Korean owners are very friendly, and the food was served quite quickly. I ordered the following dishes: Dakbal (spicy stir-fried chicken feet), Gamjatang, Cheese Buldak, and Bulgogi. The food was delicious and definitely worth trying.“

“Favorite ice cream place. I ordered cookies and cream soft serve that was covered in Oreo dust and topped with a macaron. The fish-shaped cone was a yummy warm waffle with an inside coated in Nutella. There are more exotic flavors like Ube and Matcha, and some flavors are rotated in and out, but the cookies and cream flavor is a delicious staple of Somisomi.“

“Cafeteria style eatery in HMART but my family loves this place. The quality and consistency of their donkatsu (we have had the cheese, the curry, the regular) are always perfect over rice. They also always give us more curry or donkatsu sauce if we go back and ask for more. The employees at Donkey Yaki are always prepping or cleaning or aware of customers walking up. Very very attentive. It’s also super cold on this side of the eatery, so bring a sweatshirts. Oh, you can sub fries for their salad for free and we always do this. We come here about twice a month.

It’s busy on Saturdays and finding parking can be a bit difficult as the entire KATY Asian town parking lot seems filled, so be patient.“

“Highly recommended! The food is amazing, the costumer service is spectacular, and the place is beautiful and unique! My favorites are too many! Start with roti (to die for). Then hainanese chicken, mango chicken, and Malaysian fried rice are my favorites! Please bring some desserts!!!!“

“We got the carnivore pizza with mozzarella stuffed crust and a half order of fried chicken. My boyfriend (usually doesn’t care for crust), absolutely devoured the stuffed crust pizza. The dough was super soft and the cheese complimented the pizza well. The fried chicken was super crispy and juicy. Will definitely come back to try the other sauce flavors :)“

“When I tell you this establishment has some of the best tasting Korean chicken in America, I mean it. This place never fails to have the crispiest, and most flavorful chicken and it is addicting!! Their spicy galbi wings and kimchi fried rice are always my go-to as a frequent customer, and it is always filling and delicious. Great and quick service and overall great quality!“

“As a Korean, I can honestly say that 8 ounce is one of the best kbbq restaurants in the Houston area! From the second you walk in, you're greeted by friendly staff and seated almost immediately. Atmosphere is modern, clean, and inviting unlike some other Korean restaurants in the area. The side dishes are authentic and delicious, and the meat quality is truly unmatched, especially the filet mignon and beef brisket. I'm still thinking about the matcha shaved ice we had for dessert... You will NOT regret coming here!!!“

“Their corn dogs are always so good. The service could definitely use some work. The employees always seem unenthused to be there and why do they all talk so quiet? lol literally every time I’ve been in there the cashiers are like mumbling quietly. I just have to guess what they’re saying! There’s nowhere to sit unless you don’t mind an outdoor bench which doesn’t bother me at all but something to keep in mind when visiting. I’ve been here 3-4 times and plan on coming back.“

“Me and my brothers always loved coming here. We'd get the spicy/sweet chicken wings and waffle fries. The employees were super kind to us and even offered us drinks whenever we would wait for our food. Was very sad to see the lock-out notice on their door when we tried coming today. Although we did notice a lack of business, we weren't expecting them to close given the quality of food.
