“Handmade gorditas and pupusas. Real good breakfast tacos and burritos. It is located inside the quik mart gas station. Small but Friendly staff. This location should be moving down the street to a brand new building being built now. Should be done in march 2020. Looking forward to it. Definitely recommend. I'll be back.“

“This spot has become our go to location for Tamales and tortillas. The Tamales are amazing. I am forever getting them for my office and now have everyone going there to get them as well. We have tried tamales everywhere because they are one of my families favorite items and we will not get them from anywhere else now. Give them a try - they are truly the BEST!!!!“

“I HIGHLY recommend Gordo Nino’s if you’re looking for a caterer!! Their team catered a rehearsal dinner for me recently and everyone raved about the food. Most people went back for seconds and thirds! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The way they interacted with our guests making sure they had everything they needed was top notch. I received so many compliments from the guests about how delicious the food was. The presentation was beautiful. They cooked the food on site so it was fresh and hot. They made my son and daughter in laws rehearsal dinner everything I imagined it to be. Quite a few of the guests had never had their food before but told me they would definitely be going and getting more at their location. Even the next day, the guests were talking about how good it was and wished they had some. We had enough left over to feed the wedding party after their late night after party too! lol! It was just a great experience from start to finish! Kudos to Chef Machete and the entire team! 😊“

“Omg the fajita meat is amazing! My daughter got the birria tacos; she said they were juicy and the dipping sauce was delicious! Very prompt and courteous service! Prices are average… Birria tacos come with (3) @$15 and all the fixings Fajitas for one are approx $20 Quesadillas are the freaking BOMB @ $15 for a 1/2 Overall!!! A WIN!!!! Defin a place to revisit !!!“

“I celebrated my birthday with a family member for the first time at Red River Cantina. The food was outstanding! The service was right on. The ambiance was TexMex classic. The ladies bathroom was impeccably clean and well stocked. Our server surprised me with a beautifully and delicious complimentary Sopapillas with cream and a lit birthday candle. Red River Cantina has nothing to envy their competitors. We all know who they are. Red River is our new restaurant for delicious and reasonably priced TexMex dining! Next on our list is their BBQ restaurant! Can't wait!“

“Mywife and I had lunch at Taqueria Chalupas yesterday. I ordered enchiladas con mole. I thought I would swoon from the delicious flavor. Not only was it good, it wasn't 'artificial Mexican'! It was genuine, THE REAL THING! Hard to find! Will we go back again? You bet! Over and over again! The atmosphere, genuine! Decor, genuine, music, genuine! Wait staff, courteous and efficient. “The waiter Huber basically told us what not to order. NOTE When you come to this location bring your own silverware, we had to share a knife among 3 people. The enchiladas & steak, more like a slice of brisket drenched in a salty cheese sauce. Awful!! The beef enchilada, unflavored ground meat, again drenched in a red sauce WITH cheese. Cancun tilapia again with cheese and 8 tiny cocktail shrimp - no garlic sauce The plate was hot but not the food. At 8ish on a saturday night they only had 3 or 4 tables, no more than 12 people, including us 3 If they were starting to close for the day, they should've close the area they were cleaning. I don't appreciate smelling 'Fabuloso" while I'm eating with the mop bucket next to my table. Really your motto should be "Why are you still in business..." Marked as 1st and last on places not to visit. Overpriced for the food quality“

“We order and eat here at least once a week. My sons favorite plate is here. Tonight I got charro beans and not refried and they forgot his cups. Anyone have picky kids by any chance? I called and the girl who answers, I asked to pick up the beans and chips tomorrow. Instead of taking care of these small little details she started telling me what I did wrong, I hung up. Do better business with your loyal customers. If it was me I wouldn’t mind but my kid literally has to have it this way to even enjoy his food.“

“I stopped by Barcena’s Mexican Cantina today on 2094 near 518 in League City, and let me tell you—I was not prepared for how good it was. 😅 This spot has seen a rotation of restaurants over the last five years, so I was a little hesitant. My husband and I were straight off the boat… dirty but clean… but still dirty in a clean kind of way. You get it. 😂 I’ve seen Birria tacos everywhere but had never actually tried them until today—and OH. MY. GOODNESS. My jaw hit the table. They were insanely delicious and officially my new obsession. I can already tell the cravings are coming. My husband ordered the crispy beef tacos and he absolutely loved them. The manager, Melissa, even stopped by our table and told us they serve breakfast all day. So yes, if we want Bellinis and pancakes at 9 PM, they’ll make them. And if we want fajitas at 9 AM? Done. That alone deserves a standing ovation. Our server. Denilson, was wonderful—kind, soft-spoken, and on top of everything. Truly a great experience from start to finish. Huge thank you to all the Bay Area food lovers who recommended this spot. We found a new favorite! 🌮❤️“

“Ohhhh Wrap and Roll is my new favorite place! The loxation by Green Tee has 20 claw machines!!! Not only is the food so filling and delicious, but the staff is awesome and friendly, and my son just LOVES coming here for the food plus claw machines! We have a blast every time we go :)!“
