“Dining at Aki Sushi. I had a fantastic experience at Aki Sushi with my wife. We started with steamed dumplings, which were delightful. My wife had the tonkatsu ramen, a dish bursting with fresh flavors, along with the melt-in-your-mouth wagyu sashimi. I tried the smoked brisket ramen, a unique and delicious dish, and unagi with foie gras sushi wow !!! is all I have to say about that one. We also enjoyed a salmon skin roll, one of my favorites. The service was outstanding, with attentive staff ensuring a memorable meal. Aki Sushi stands out with their fresh wasabi ground tableside and fresh, never-frozen bluefin tuna. Highly recommend for anyone who loves sushi and ramen!“

The owner, Chef Ruben, is highly skilled at what he does and offers the best customer service ever! Every time I come, I always feel welcomed as a long time friend. If you're ever in the area or need a quick pick-up, I would highly recommend this place. Being completely honest, I think I prefer this spot over an actually restaurant, it's so yummy!“

“The sushi was really good as was the fried rice. My girlfriend brought it home as take out, so I haven’t been inside. I’ve been to places like Uchi, which is good sushi but requires you to drive into town, possibly make reservations, and deal with traffic and everything that comes with that. This was very good for the price, location, and quick if you want something last minute on the way home and you don’t want fast food. Highly recommend it and will definitely be back.“

“I had a friend visiting from out of town, and I wanted to find a nice elevated dining place in Clear Lake. Luckily, I found Masa! To summarize my review before it begins, Masa is now my destination if I am craving sushi and Japanese food. The atmosphere was elegant, which makes it stand out from other surrounding sushi restaurants. We started off with cold sake and Ahi Poké Nachos, which were crispy and delicious. My friend and I split Sushi Combo C, which features 20 pieces of assorted sushi with California and Spicy Tuna rolls. The sushi was very fresh and skillfully made. The Tamago was freshly made with the traditional chopstick method. This was the best sushi I have had since I dined at Nobu in Las Vegas. Our companions had the chicken katsu Bento Boxes because they wanted an assortment of things to try. The tempura battered shrimp and vegetables were lightly crunchy and delicate. After dinner, the four of us had a round of Ninja Drop martinis, which were tangy and sweet. The owner, Michael Zhou (pronounced "zjoe"), came over to say hi. He encouraged us to try one of his favorite items, the Ahi Tuna Tartare, which was spectacular. To finish, we had a couple of bottles of hot sake alongside some yummy mochi ice cream. Our experience was amazing. Our server, Jordan, took great care of us, and we all had a great time. I was looking for an elevated experience, and I got exactly what I was looking for and more. I can't wait to eat here again and try other things on the amazing menu!“

“I'm not very familiar with the area, but I found your restaurant and decided to try it. I was clueless about what to order, but Piper was there and helped me create my first bowl. It was a little expensive, but well worth it. There is ample parking, and the restaurant was very clean, even the restroom. I told my brother and sister about the place, and now they want to visit. “I really enjoyed my visit to this restaurant. It’s nothing greater than spending your hard earned money and the experience is so satisfying. The food was so fresh, seasoned and flavorful. We ordered the hibachi chicken, beef, and shrimp. A little tip for any first timers, all the beef offerings were delicious and tender, you don’t even need to splurge on the higher grades. The grill chef was excellent and we really appreciate his showmanship. My only drawback was the cocktail offerings and the service was a bit slow.“

“Went here to celebrate a family members bday. My first time to this one. It was good. The food was good the chef believe he said his name is Joey took care of us. We had a good time. For the price we get fed alot. Food was really good. I had got the one option that allows you to have steak, prepared to my liking with chicken and shrimp and fried rice. I was happy with it. My wife got fish which she thoroughly enjoyed and daughter ate the kids steak plate. We were happy campers after we left“

“This is our second time at yummy yummy hibachi, sushi and buffet and I swear we never get let down going there. They have an amazing variety of foods and desserts. I highly recommend this place to go eat for the buffet lunch.“

“This is the favorite sushi place for my wife and I. They have an HUGE selection of rolls and the sushi is always fresh and well made. They do have options for the sushi-phobic so you can bring new people and everyone can find something to eat.“
