Taco Restaurants near Kerrville

“Very good and large portions!

I have been trying to find the best tacos in Kerrville and the one that some people said wasn't good, turned out to be the best one to me!
Great quality, taste, portions and preparation.
Authentic except for one type of taco and that's the carne guisada. It was more like a brisket taco and had no guisada (gravy). The Picadillo, beef fajita, bean and cheese and potato egg and cheese are my favorites 😋
My review is based upon multiple visits and after trying Mary's a few times as a comparison because of the local stories.
Final opinions are that Rita's has the most authentic tacos overall, taste the best and has far better service than many restaurants of any type in town!
Prices are on point for the generous portions and much better quality than any other tacos I have tried, from Ingram to Comfort and that's many.

“They have a varied menu from ala cart to complete dinners and tortas( Mexican/ Cuban sandwiches), including a hamburger option and kids menu. Breakfast tacos are really good, so I believe the rest of the menu is equally good. They have red and green salsa to add spice to the food. I'm biased because I've had real Mexican food, so I miss the Mexican slow roasted pork and fresh shrimp for quesadillas and other dishes. Overall, I will go back to try another selection.

Vegetarian options: Sorry, but most cultures enjoy being omnivores. I suppose you could ask for only veggies and cheese, but it's all cooked on the same grill.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome and should be introduced to Mexican food instead of the American selection on the kids menu“
