My favorite is the torta, my son and I share the giant burrito 🌯 it’s stuffed with beans meat and cheese toasted to perfection! “I routinely go here with 3 or more teacher friends for breakfast on Fridays at 6:30 a.m. The coffee is always hot and fresh as are the breakfast plates. The pork chop plate that comes with two homemade corn or flour tortillas, 2 eggs, and refried beans is magnificent as are the eggs rancheros plate, eggs divorciados plate, steak and eggs plate, and the other breakfast plates and assorted ample breakfast tacos. The service is great. The plates are a beautiful sight for the eyes to behold. I will post pictures next time. We always enjoy ourselves immensely. You must try it.“

“This was my first visit to this establishment, and I was pleasantly surprised to find the food very good. The cheese enchiladas have a sauce that's more like mole, with a good kick. While not pictured, the Birria tacos were very tasty. I sampled the goat, and my father enjoyed that dish quite a bit. My mother lamented the lack of more chicharrones on her plate, but ended up taking half home because the portion was so large.

“I'm not exaggerating when I say this is my favorite place to eat in San Antonio. Located near the airport in a tucked away location, RO-HO Pork & Bread is a hidden gem. This is comfort food at it's finest. Ro-Ho has many great things on the menu, but they are best known for their Torta Ahogada, and it's what I get almost every time. The torta is always hot, the carnitas cooked to perfection, and the tomato salsa is to die for. You can get the torta with straight carnitas or you can mix it up with carnitas, pork stomach and skin, which is what I usually get. The torta also comes with cabbage, onion, radish and lime. No matter how you order it, it's going to be great! The place is super cool, with Mexican artwork and music. There is inside seating and an outside covered patio as well. Everything you can get to drink from the cold case is always ice cold. And they serve one of my favorite Mexican beers, Victoria. Chef Rojo is often around and greets customers. The ladies that work the register and food line are so friendly, and will answer questions if it's your first time. The place fills up quickly at lunch, so keep that in mind. I drive clear across town for my Torta Ahogada fix, if that says anything! Check this place out!“

“We visited this place for the first time on Saturday, June 28. The food is delicious! The wait staff attentive and the owner was so friendly and welcoming! I am so very picky with Mexican food and I am happy to report they did NOT disappoint! Their dessert (churros with cajeta/ ice cream) was delicious. We are SO going back this weekend to try something new. Visitamos este lugar por primera vez el sábado 28 de junio. ¡La comida está deliciosa! La señorita que atiende las mesas fue muy atenta y la dueña fue muy amable. Soy muy exigente con la comida mexicana y me alegra decir que no me decepcionaron. “A Mexican restaurant at the end of the River Walk away from all the hustle and bustle of tourists and other restaurants. But make no mistake, this is a must visit restaurant if you want good Mexican food. We had Bloody Mary’s which were probably the best we’ve had.
