“We were looking for a taco spot that was open on Christmas. Luckily we found Lucy's Tacos! The owner was very sweet and kind! The food was also delicious. We ordered the chilaquiles verdes with carne asada, a sausage egg and cheese taco, and a carne asada taco. The green sauce is a little spicy but is so good! It was made fresh so there was a little wait but was worth it! My mouth was watering as I could smell the meat being freshly cooked. Honestly, I will be going back to eat there and am so happy I found a new taco spot in San Marcos!“
“The guy was very nice and helped me figure out what I wanted to order. He also offered to walk the to go order to my car so I could sit in the a/c. The quesabirria tacos were amazing, my favorite in San Marcos. My friend says the chicken street tacos were very tasty. Definitely my new go to place for tacos. Also if you want to eat there, there are picnic tables to sit at. Very chill and fast place“
“I went with my wife to the square to check out the new establishments when we came across La Chula. They had upbeat music and we reviewed the menu they had on the window. We came in and ordered the chips and queso and a barbacoa quesadilla. It did not disappoint. My wife and I loved the authenticity of the food. Portions were huge! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. My wife and I will definitely be back. 10/10“
“a good experience I had two people assistant me Esperanza and Teresa were VERY helpful i had only been a handful times before and they helped me figure out what to get they were extremely nice and patient so I very much appreciate would very much come again (I came at a overnight shift) and the food was amazing and decent pricing good for when your hungry and it’s late! was some drunks but I did come late so understandable but still service was great“

“I swear they’re more busy than the bar that they serve out of. I loved them when they were at their previous location and I love them now. Great homemade chips and salsa, awesome tacos and tortas. My favorite is the Al pastor. Amazing flavor and always great service! Anytime you’re in San Marcos you have to stop by this place.“

Came by after some time, to the new spot, loved everything!!!!Update: They have updated their info, all that is left is, go by, pick up great food and enjoy! Happy eating.Coming from San Antonio to San Marcos and this is our 3rd year here, so glad we found this taco truck, the food is so good and the staff is so nice. They even come to your car so no getting out in the cold. Definitely recommend anyone to try this truck out. We got the Burrito ?, quesadilla and some tacos ALL 5 STARS and the green chili is so good NICE AND SPICY!!!!“
