“My wife and I were searching all over to find a taqueria with barbacoa. We even considered driving 20 miles. Little did we know, right in our backyard, is Pollo Regio. It was clean, the staff friendly, ave some of the best barbacoa tacos I have ever had. Took me back to Sunday mornings as a kid. We will definitely be returning here!“

The food and margs always delicious, the place is well cleaned (bussers take the trays from my hands before I can put them by the trash), and the warmth of hospitality makes it a Cheers kind of place. Even though its all great, tonight was the first time I felt catered to. Devlin (MOD) was awesome. He was constantly working the room, cleaning, delivering food, etc. If I was still young and spry enough to work in the business, I'd want to work here with Devlin as my manager. Get here now and order the queso, 2 Hogfathers, and a margarita on the rocks with salt!“

“First of all this place was just so cute and pretty, especially right before sunset, and my gf and I loved it! The lady taking our order was really nice and even complimented us which we thought was just a kind gesture. Lastly, the most important the drinks which we only got one drink and it was a blue coconut snow cone, however it was more of a slushy than a snow cone, but the lady taking our order did warn us about this before we ordered so it was all good. Either way that slushy was still really good. The entire vibe of the place is very cute and I would 100% recommend if you live near by :)“

Our waiter was great, checking on us, and re-filling pur water in a timely matter. I got a chicken Chimichanga, for the most part it was good, but the chicken was dry. “This place has been in business for 30+ years, its our local fav for breakfast tacos, and they are the best, especially the June Bug tacos (beef carnitas in gravy, a house specialty , ask the owners' story behind it). 2-3 of thoses might last me the whole day. On fresh, hand made tortillas too! But like a lot of good, old skool restaurants, when they run out, they run out. This is the way are, early bird gets the worm, the best traditional/historic tacos joints are just like that throughout the state, so ignore most of the bad reviews, because alotta folks complain about this, but if you go after 12 noon, theres a good chance they will be out of food. Its just the way local taco joints are...so get up early and get your Casa Galaviz tacos, ese!!“

“The food is amazing. The restaurant is beautiful and a fun atmosphere. Only thing was we ordered the tres leches cake. I asked what was on it. Waitress said caramel drizzle and whipped cream. I was surprised and disappointed to get this cake to find it swimming in a puddle of chocolate syrup. She never mentioned it and I repeated back to her what she said was part if it. Not only that this was not a tree leches cake. It was a layered cake that was not soaked. Other than that everything was good.“

“Finally tried this tiny taqueria in a crowded corner of a gas station, the food was great! We had the bistec tacos w/ beans & rice. The bistec was very well seasoned and had great flavor! The rice was great, the beans were good. We also ordered the pastor gorditas, they were very well made, non greasy and held together well. The meats had great flavor, were tender and tasted fresh unlike some places where the meat sits too long and dries out. Even though this is a tiny place, there was a line and waited about 15 minutes for our food but it was well worth the wait. The gentleman taking our oder was very friendly and the ladies prepping the food were hard at work. We will definitely go back as food this good is hard to find in this area. You won’t know what you are missing until you’ve tried it! ~ just sayin…“
