They have messed up our order once or twice just like any other restaurant but we don’t even bother to bring it back because that’s how much we love this place and people. Laura is absolutely AMAZING! She’s always here when we come and always has a patient positive attitude. Both are a preference. I'd prefer less cheese and smaller but more shrimp.“

“Finally tried this tiny taqueria in a crowded corner of a gas station, the food was great! We had the bistec tacos w/ beans & rice. The bistec was very well seasoned and had great flavor! The rice was great, the beans were good. We also ordered the pastor gorditas, they were very well made, non greasy and held together well. The meats had great flavor, were tender and tasted fresh unlike some places where the meat sits too long and dries out. Even though this is a tiny place, there was a line and waited about 15 minutes for our food but it was well worth the wait. The gentleman taking our oder was very friendly and the ladies prepping the food were hard at work. We will definitely go back as food this good is hard to find in this area. You won’t know what you are missing until you’ve tried it! ~ just sayin…“

Looking for a new restaurant to celebrate our anniversary, my wife made a reservation at this gem in Denton and we were not disappointed. Our table was laid out with rose petals to celebrate the occasion and the staff wished us a Happy Anniversary. The menu had a multitude of items that sounded mouth-watering, so the decision making process was tortuous. We settled on bacon wrapped dates and steamed mussels as appetizers. The dates were moist and the bacon crispy, a perfect bite of sweet and salty. The mussels were perfectly steamed with a delicious broth and the perfect crispy, warm French bread to sop it up. A great start. My wife ordered Beef Cheek stuffed Ravioli, remembering how much she loved the beef cheeks we first ate in Spain. Ground meat in the ravioli topped with a perfect ragu of tomatoes, beef cheek, and vegetables. I am drawn to duck whenever I see it on the menu and the Rosemary smoked Duck Breast was cooked to perfection; crispy skin, juicy meat, and a sun dried cherry pico tart enough to complement its maple syrup glaze. The sliced duck breast was served atop a wild rice and vegetable pancake that was unique and perhaps the star of the dish. Come on, who wouldn’t love pancakes for dinner? A couple glasses of wine with dinner, a slice of award winning carrot cake for desert with an espresso, and exquisite service all evening long made for an ideal anniversary celebration.
