“I recently visited Hawaiian Bros Island Grill and was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the Honolulu chicken.

It was a very savory flavor with a hint of sweetness.

The Detroit Deep Dish with its crispy edges is drool-worthy! I also like ordering the "Triple Cheese Turbo Stix" with the "bold pepperoni" on top. And, *pats fingers with a napkin* I have to admit ordering the brownie dessert and tackling it with the zeal of a five-year-old! SOooo nom nom delicious! “I’ve always loved this place. I introduced this place to my fiancé and now we are here once a week lol. We also showed my father in law this place and now every time he comes down from Missouri, we HAVE to eat here. Everyone here is super friendly, I’ve never ran into any issues with any of the employees. They have messed up our order once or twice just like any other restaurant but we don’t even bother to bring it back because that’s how much we love this place and people. Laura is absolutely AMAZING! She’s always here when we come and always has a patient positive attitude. They even allowed us to bring our own cake and candles to celebrate my fiancés birthday which was special for us. 10/10 Recommend this location!“

These outer branches are a little more corporate which limits the experience you normally get with Question of the Day & food quality. Biscuits still taste the same though and that's what keeps me coming.“

Just a heads up, the cheese enchiladas have great flavor but too much cheese in them for my liking. The shrimps are too big for my preference, you get the fishy flavor from them. Both are a preference. I'd prefer less cheese and smaller but more shrimp.“

“Finally tried this tiny taqueria in a crowded corner of a gas station, the food was great! We had the bistec tacos w/ beans & rice. The bistec was very well seasoned and had great flavor! The rice was great, the beans were good. We also ordered the pastor gorditas, they were very well made, non greasy and held together well. The meats had great flavor, were tender and tasted fresh unlike some places where the meat sits too long and dries out. Even though this is a tiny place, there was a line and waited about 15 minutes for our food but it was well worth the wait. The gentleman taking our oder was very friendly and the ladies prepping the food were hard at work. We will definitely go back as food this good is hard to find in this area. You won’t know what you are missing until you’ve tried it! ~ just sayin…“

“My quandary: give Hannah’s the rave review it deserves and risk not being able to get a table on a Saturday night or just pretend we never made it to dinner? Looking for a new restaurant to celebrate our anniversary, my wife made a reservation at this gem in Denton and we were not disappointed. Our table was laid out with rose petals to celebrate the occasion and the staff wished us a Happy Anniversary. The menu had a multitude of items that sounded mouth-watering, so the decision making process was tortuous. We settled on bacon wrapped dates and steamed mussels as appetizers. The dates were moist and the bacon crispy, a perfect bite of sweet and salty. The mussels were perfectly steamed with a delicious broth and the perfect crispy, warm French bread to sop it up. A great start. My wife ordered Beef Cheek stuffed Ravioli, remembering how much she loved the beef cheeks we first ate in Spain. Ground meat in the ravioli topped with a perfect ragu of tomatoes, beef cheek, and vegetables. I am drawn to duck whenever I see it on the menu and the Rosemary smoked Duck Breast was cooked to perfection; crispy skin, juicy meat, and a sun dried cherry pico tart enough to complement its maple syrup glaze. The sliced duck breast was served atop a wild rice and vegetable pancake that was unique and perhaps the star of the dish. Come on, who wouldn’t love pancakes for dinner? A couple glasses of wine with dinner, a slice of award winning carrot cake for desert with an espresso, and exquisite service all evening long made for an ideal anniversary celebration. Thank you to the kitchen staff and everyone in the front of the house and remember to save us a table on Saturday nights. See you soon.“
