“Met a friend here who has been here multiple times. I went with small egg drop soup and the Tofu Pad Thai.

The soup was standard, good. They brought out the crispy wontons to go in our soups (which I'd heard an earlier reviewer saying they weren't doing at the time they visited).

The flavor of the Pad Thai was just alright. Not completely bland, but definitely not as flavorful or flavor-noticeable as other Pad Thai dishes elsewhere.

But...the portion sizes are HUGE. Very very generous on the portion sizes! The 'small' egg drop soup here is probably close to a large egg drop soup elsewhere. And the entree portions are easily enough for two regular meals.

I will be coming back, to try some other main dish, to see if it hits the mark better. They have a wide variety of both Chinese and Thai dishes, so the possibility to find something better than the Pad Thai is good.

“It’s a no frills taco store, and of my favourites for 3 reasons -
- They are efficient, consistent and have very clear direction on what they offer.
- Everyone including vegetarians have at least 3 good options. All their tacos are customisable with corn tortillas or lettuce as subs.
- Our favourites are the fish and chips, rotisserie chicken, pork & gruyere, beer battered cauliflower and the Mexicali shrimp tacos.“

My biggest issue with some restaurants that make this dish is when the beef has a gamey taste & chewy texture. HOWEVER, this beef was TENDER, SAVORY and the broccoli was cooked perfectly. The Vegetable & Pork Wonton soup was a very large shareable portion and had a clean broth flavor with a touch of scallion and plenty of wontons. The Lo Mein was nostalgic for me because I haven't had LM this great since the 90s at my favorite local chinese restaurant. The flavor was so satisfying! We also enjoyed the S1 Pork Soup Dumplings & S4 Veggie & Pork Potstickers that were stuffed full. We also ordered the R4 Taiwan Beef Noodle soup but I only got around to trying a piece of the beef which was very tender. The C4 Orange Chicken had the right amount of crispy texture and was the classic sweet & sour flavor; not spicy in my opinion which was ideal for the kids to enjoy too. It's only been two days since I ate here with my family and I already want to go back asap! The biggest problem I will have is deciding what few dishes to order when it is just for me to take home!“
