“Visiting from out of state. Highly recommended by my local host for brisket and pulled pork. Pulled pork was sold out before 730 PM so I had brisket plate, and my hosts shared a brisket taco plate. Country (vinegar) slaw was a nice change from soupy mayo-based slaw. Friendly service.“

“If you're looking for a rustic place to stop and get some great food. This is it! Everything we've had there has been delicious from the steak to the Chicken Fried steak to the fried mushrooms. You name it, it's delicious. the service is hit-and-miss. Some of the servers are super attentive. The others are just attentative but not anything that would prevent us from going back. Instead of chips and hot sauce while you wait, they have hot Pinto beans to eat! their salad bar is limited, but they have one.“
