“There is something very special about the food here.We got there and were able to get a booth before the dinner rush set it. The mood is so intimate and relaxed it really lets you focus on enjoying the meal. Whole restaurant was spotlessly clean, it’s clear to see everything gets wiped down often and throughly.Service was fast, friendly, and orders were taken down perfectly the first time. Handled lots of to go orders and entrees still came out exceptionally fast. Each dish has a part of it that demonstrates great care. The pasta and filling on the lobster ravioli were good, and they were cooked with the upmost care, but the sauce stole the show. Creamy with a touch of acidity, and a savory buttery fish flavor that was a celebration of the dish. The pastry inside tiramisu was still crisp while the rest was firm and creamy.A surprising gem out here in Elgin Texas.“

“So far I've tried the Ground Control pizza and a couple of the grinders. The food is excellent. The crust is thin and a nice blend of chewy and crispy from a very hot oven. I added a little mozzarella when I reheated it and I'm thinking I'll order extra cheese next time. The grinders are outstanding. The bread is top notch. When you order a grinder you get a choice of sides: chips, potato salad, and honey-sriracha brussel sprouts. The potato salad is not sweet, it's smokey. And the brussel sprouts with that sweet and spicy dressing were a nice surprise.“

“Reptiles are all captive bred (to my knowledge). This is extremely important. Many small pet shops sell wild-caught reptiles for which there is a high chance of developing infections, including parasites, which sicken the already physically stressed critters. There is also the concern of habitat destruction. Over 50% of chameleon species are native to Madagascar which is currently 80% deforested.Check out YouTube videos of local kids gathering them straight out of the trees.“

“They have changed owners! These reviews are before the new owners took over. The waitress came over smiling and spoke to me in spanish.. I said I don't speak Spanish. Her smile disappeared and from then on she was so rude and disrespectful! I ordered 2 tacos, (the Taco plate). I asked for some sour cream and the rude disrespectful waitress brought a cup of sour cream! I only ate 1 Taco and it was nasty, the meat had no flavor, just plain crumbled hamburger meat and greasy. I go to pay and she says $18.00!! 2 tacos, dry rice and bland refried beans!!! She charged me $2,99 for sour cream! I told her I just needed a dollop of sour cream And she said well you should have said you only wanted a little bit! She was very nice to the other patrons but they were all Mexicans IF YOU ARE WHITE (CAUCASIAN) DO NOT GO HERE BECAUSE THEY ARE CLEARMY RACIST!!“

“You'd never think this place is as great as it is, it's very humble but this is some of the best food I've had since moving to Austin. The fried chicken is crisp but not oily, and they have some home-meal-style sides. The Tex Mex side of the menu is a sleeper hit - try the mole sauce with the chicken enchiladas, it's an incredible experience of sweet and savory and spiced-not-spicy. The fish tacos are also solid.“

“The service is great, always a smile. I come for the chicken flour quesadilla, and it is just perfect, the combination of good tortillas, avocado, sour cream, sauce just hits the right tones of flavor and creamy-ness in a quesadilla I don't get any other places. 2 for $12 gets you more than satisfied.“
