“Great steaks, chicken fried steak, augratin potatoes and appetizers.“

“I got 2 of the regular size tacos, and opted for Bacon, Beans, and Cheese. I gotta say, The Taco Stop absolutely rocks!! Bacon for days, beans were cooked well and seasoned to perfection, and just enough cheese!

Hopefully they have their large tacos available next time, because I'm definitely going for the upgrade.

Only one thing.... The green sauce was good, but it wasn't quite spicy enough. Plenty of flavor for sure, and it will be my first pick next time, but I'd love to see an Extra Hot option one of these days.

“I looked this place up to see what the actual name was and all i found was pictures of people's plates! some were half-eaten but they still rated highly enough that people wanted to share pics! Hearty home cooking that is filling and delicious. No trip to Austin area would be complete without a side trip to this restaurant. I'm not sure how fast food joints can stay in business with food like this nearby. You can tell by the wonderful flavors that it is made with love and the pictures don't lie, their meals are wonderful! Prepare to have a new favorite place. Being surrounded by very good Mexican food places, this place stands out as a cut above!“

“They have changed owners! These reviews are before the new owners took over. The waitress came over smiling and spoke to me in spanish.. I said I don't speak Spanish. Her smile disappeared and from then on she was so rude and disrespectful! I ordered 2 tacos, (the Taco plate). I asked for some sour cream and the rude disrespectful waitress brought a cup of sour cream! I only ate 1 Taco and it was nasty, the meat had no flavor, just plain crumbled hamburger meat and greasy. I go to pay and she says $18.00!! 2 tacos, dry rice and bland refried beans!!! She charged me $2,99 for sour cream! I told her I just needed a dollop of sour cream And she said well you should have said you only wanted a little bit! She was very nice to the other patrons but they were all Mexicans IF YOU ARE WHITE (CAUCASIAN) DO NOT GO HERE BECAUSE THEY ARE CLEARMY RACIST!!“

“Lucy’s kitchen is an Elgin staple. It has a small town charm that is hard to come by these days, I love all their desserts and traditional menu.
I usually get the cheesy chicken
