“A group of ladies came together for a Christmas exchange of gifts, good conversation, and good food. I ordered a ham and Swiss cheese on rye with chips. The rye bread was fresh and the ham was a thick slice. The sandwich was very good. I also ordered a cupcake and I was a bit disappointed with it. It was very dry and crumbly and the icing tasted commercial. The serving of apple pie one lady got was generous and the cookies were very good. Prices were quite reasonable. Plenty of seating in the cafe. It was a very nice lunch.“

“We went for breakfast on March 30, 2025, the service was great and the food was even better! My husband had the biscuits and gravy and he said it was the best that he had ever had, that it was even better than his mom’s! If you ever have the chance, please go and check them out, I promise you will not be disappointed!“

“Pretty impressed with the food and the menu choices, manager happened to be in the front of the restaurant talking with us while we were waiting to get our table. Didn't even know he was the manager till afterwards he recommended to my wife the fried avocado, which she tried and found very delicious. They give you quite a lot of food so come hungry we've been there two times a ready second time we took our young adults who really enjoyed it. Great selection of drinks. Sometimes gets crowded but both times we went we didn't have to wait too long for a table. Second time we went the service was a little bit slower than the first time I guess it was due to a busy night and then being a little on the short staff side. But either way we enjoyed ourselves great atmosphere, good food and pretty good customer service.“

Yes sugar high inducing delights that flood you with memories of Christmas shopping in the late 80s with your grandma and you took a break in the food court before hitting up sears for some sweet flannel. She let you get a cookie the size of your head or one packed with frosting. Yes I now spoil my kids on their birthday with this mess of sugar. Always dear to my heart.“

“I love this place! They have such great coffee like their iced mocha latte and amazing pastries! My kids love the fruit and regular kolaches and my husband and I love the scones. Pistachio and chocolate espresso are my fav! Pictures don’t do this place justice. If you’re in the area, it’s a must try! You will not be disappointed!“

“Absolutely love coming to Sycamore Grounds in Deer Park. While the location is small, I've never had issues with finding parking or a place to sit. The baristas are always super friendly and the pastry and food selection is unmatched. Love trying their seasonal selections!“

“I haven’t been going to this location long, just 2 visits in. But the Spinach and Bacon Soufflé and the Four cheese Soufflé are so yummy! I would definitely recommend eating these!! I like the location too… really close to my home, but also right off 45.
